Thanks, I have three pairs of boots from the same company great boots, but they are three different sizes, The black ones fit great, the red (brown) ones are way too tight, but they will stretch, the suede ones are way too lose. I should have thought of a bigger insole

Getting into wearing boots again after a few decades of not wearing them. The primary reason I wear cowboy boots now is for horseback riding. I have a pair of snip toe boots, and I just got a pair of square toe boots. What I like already about them is they have less "play" when they're in stirrups making an easier ride because they don't slip around as much. And they are so comfortable I still feel like wearing them long after the ride!

I own several pairs of Anderson Bean and HP. I have this exact boot, and it's so soft and comfortable. Just a heads up Horsepower boots, for the most part, are exactly the same as Anderson Bean's hand-made boots, so it's great quality for the money. They do employ some machines to do the stitching, but overall, they're handmade as well. The quality is so close to AB that for the money you can't beat them. My most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned is AB Bullfrog leather boots. They're like so broken in and soft, my feet never tire or hurt, I love em more than my Luchesse 's.

I have a pair of Dan Post from 20+ years ago and they have a cow or calf lining and I just bought a new pair of Dan Post boots and they have a pig lining, I also have 2 pairs of Republic boots and they have lux calf lining’s. Republic boots are made with all leather material from the sole, heels and the lining the vamp is the only part of Republic boots that changes. I would love to see you do a review on Republic boots once.

Great video, I have a pair of the Tecovas Parkers in roughout I just bought a few months ago. The person at the store said I would never have to condition them since "the leather is reversed and moisture from your foot would essentially condition them". I was a little suspect of that. I noticed in the Saphir amazon link you can select different colors did you just use the neutral option for the boots in the video?

Have very well worn Ariat boots. They were supposed to be waterproof, but are not up to the job. Any suggestions? I use mink oil on them.

Just got the Ariat Workhogs trying to find a lower Heel and more cushioning for my Old Ass and they are 11D and fit great with a little tightness going on. I’ve never worn an 11 anything and it’s always 12 or 11.5 in boots but these square toe are different but comfortable and a lot of cushion. I am swapping these horrible Ariat Professional Insoles though. I had to retire my Old Classics, Nocona, Acme, Justin and the Ariats made in Mexico due to causing so much Spine and Back Pain. I gotta say Ariat is the most comfortable for me at my Age.
