Hello, I am working on a similar steering leak out the top of the column. Mine is a Ferguson 35 but exactly the same set up. My question is the part of the steering shaft that the upper seal in the outer tube sits against. Mine is somewhat pitted, how can I best smooth and make the shaft so it seals well with the upper tube seal? Is there a sleeve that will work, and how can I find one?

does this tractor use oil from the hydraulic reservoir for power steering? or the transmission?

No, it only uses the power steering fluid from the reservoir on top of the power steering pump

I am very grateful for this video. And yes, the goofy one goes in the 6'o'clock position. Also I had trouble knowing if the valve assembly body was upside down. One of the big fluid connections has an extra nut screwed in between the body and the line. It should go on the starboard side. I call it the passenger side. The rear-most lines should be lower than the middle lines. There's 6 hard lines.

Whoa backhoe is in gear, very dangerous. Also extend them outriggers down more so you get higher to curl the bucket with ease.

Mine was squealing, then stopped and did nothing but blow fuses, thought motor was shot but turned out the smaller fan slid down the shaft and started rubbing the housing, eventually melting to it. Was able to loosen it up and slide it into it's proper place n tighten it up, furnace works good now. Thank goodness because it supposed to be below 10 degrees soon.

Awesome video and FANTASTIC explanation of critical items. I live in Oklahoma and don’t need to have permits or even need inspection but I’m going to go off of this model. Thank you sir.

That was the worst! Actually turned it on and I think I have the exact same problem you have but you didn't show anything about how to get the motor out about how to get the fan off the other side slip the motor out anything or how to get it back in it was basically just a video of you standing by the side of the furnace working on it and then pointing at the crack telling us what you were going to do and then you standing by the side of the furnace again and saying you got it. Useless

whats weird about these furnace is they dont have a separate exhaust and intake pipe. it seems to suck fresh air from around the exhaust pipe seems stupid. i put a long pipe on the exhaust pipe and that seemed to work good. also i noticed black soot build up in tge exhaust

wow ! same as one of my furnaces in my 88 alpenlite. mine is squeaky and all that too. had removed it and took to a repair shop to hopefully tune it up right. they put a new board in it and i thought maybe the blower motor need repair or new one. but they didnt. got it back and installed. works. BUT. makes a funny smell thats not propane smell but a weird burny smell tgat sets off the gas alarm. SUCKs and now winters here again. i guess its shot or the heat exchanger is cracked from what i read and its carbon monoxide if it's setting of the gas alarm. but in not sure if its set iff the actual carbon monoxide detector. any ideas for other things it might be ?

I got the same motor. The rivets are to hold the plate that houses the brushes. If you bend the motor tabs back you can open and grease the bearing from the inside. After I greased the bearings I replaced the armature and bearing house back. I used a vise grip wrench to hold the housing and armature together.

Hi Hillbilly Repairman, I'm glad I watched your video on the septic installation. You explained everything really good I appreciate that. I'm about to start my house construction in Texas. I'm going to follow your instructions. One question on the requirements it specifies that the homeowner can install the septic himself with no help just the homeowner or hire an installer and spend 10 ton 12 K. I don't understand the logic. Who cares who installs the septic as long it meets the town, city, state requirements I think is just politics bad bad. Take care my friend and again thanks that video is going to help me a lot.

I'm a Septic Professional in the State of New Hampshire with over 20 years of experience, and we typically see Septic Tanks installed 10 to 15 feet from the foundation of the house. However, we are allowed to be as close as 5 feet, but it's very rare that anyone has a tank that close to their house, unless it's not possible to get further away from the building or dwelling. In any case, regarding the pitch on the Inlet Pipe, you don't want the wastewater to get ahead of the solids, because that causes problems, which is why too much pitch is not a good idea. By the way, this type of Leaching Area or Drainage Area, is actually what we call a "single line leach pipe" not a Leachfield or Drainfield, because it's just one pipe in a trench with crushed stone. Nevertheless, I've never heard of anybody using 3 feet of stone in a trench before, but I'm sure it'll last a long time. Typically, up here in New England, a foot of aggregate material is plenty, unless it's a Dry Well or a French Drain, but I think this system will work just fine... well done!

It's California, brother. Nothing makes sense there. You have to install septic tanks to commercial standards, but you can build a tent city of transients on heroine, and the politicians will pay for everything with tax payer dollars.....

Why not just put bacteria kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoG9haZ9ibFlpKc from the bottom of the ocean or the bacteria from our salty boggy marshes that breakdown and consume organic matter and convert it into electrical current as long as you use a non-conductive septic tank and then put a superconductive coating on a conductive Rod or strip of metal on each end of the septic tank to receive electrical current discharge from bacteria to power your house or charge an EV vehicle.

Im a first year plumbing apprentice from socal. And I just moved onto a ranch and im going for it myself. A little scared but this video filled in all the blanks for me so im pretty stoked to get cracking. Last step before breaking down is getting the permit and renting the mini x and its time to rip haha.
