I have some therories about some of the stuff that happened in Episode 5: 1. That Insect witch from the Salem Seven probably did something to them when they broom rushed her and I believe her name is Vertigo. That trial could be part of her InsectTy spell 2. When Agatha got Possessed by her mother and Alice blasted her she seemed like a hungry person who wasn't fed for a long time and I truly believed she didn't mean to absorb Alice. 3. Teen/Billy killed Mrs. Hart/ Sharon Davis and Agatha is aware of it. That's why Agatha said "your just like your mother" this is like the same thing with Wanda, although she didn't mean to hurt people she went along with the enslavement because she wanted Vision and later her Children. 4. I also feel like it was Teen who opened the gate because it was colored blue and he was the one who went inside the gate first only the next episode can tell if that's true.

These are all great theories! I think my favorite is the one is Teen opening the gate. Makes me wonder if the road is even real or a Wadnavision-type hex that he’s created

Interesting. Even if I loved the ending of this episode because of the reveal, however this episode was the one I liked the least. The trial had no sense, and if not the reveal at the end, nothing would have happened. It would be only an episode to kill Alice

In fairness it added a bit of depth to Agatha and her relationship with her mother, showed how willing Jen was to turn on her coven, showed Alice was able to conjure her powers, and we got another Nicholas Scratch reference. The biggest struggle with the show is that the episodes are so short.

I think that is part of what's happening here. The trials all seem kind of weak (the most recent one, most of all). The whole thing reeks of a kind of scheme.

I think Agatha getting power back brought her much more clarity, thus her figuring out who Teen is. this was the most spooky episode so far which is what this show should be.

“You’re so much like your mother.” Wanda powers activate uncontrollable with emotion, and Teen was walking road for power, so I think when Agatha said that, it activated Teens powers and he kinda blanked out like Wanda did when she created the hex.

6:54 Agree I think Agatha has always thought it was either Nick or Billy, and when Rio said that I actually think it clued Agatha into Rio and Teen were working together because remember he broke into the house while Rio was visiting. Agatha is you notice tho was still protective over him even after finding out, she gasped for life when one of the Salem 7 jumped on Teen, and intended to keep protecting him even tho she called him pet, because remember she also named her actual pet after her son. So there is a twisted sense of maternity there still.

y’all clearly don’t pay attention to the show cuz Agatha CLEARLY realized Teen is Wanda’s son right there on the spot at the reveal. You can see it in her face, her remembering he said “Nicolas Scratch” to stop her from stealing Alice’s power without no sigil

I feel like she knew since Rio said something, and the look on her face when Teen was yelling was more one of, wait a minute the nerve of you type of thing I but I could be wrong.

That could be true, but don’t forget that Teen ‘lost’ his spellbook and then Agatha blew it off like it was no big deal. I think Agatha stole the spellbook after Rio convinced her Teen wasn’t Nicholas. Her curiousity was peaked and she wanted to try to figure out who Teen really was. She was fine with him being Wanda’s son as long as she felt she could manipulate him, but once he chewed her out for killing Alice, she decided to taunt him, possibly to try to steal his powers also, but he was too smart for her and got Jen and Lilia to hold her back and throw her into the earth. I think this is all Agatha’s punishment for failing her trial… but hey, I could be wrong. The speculation is fun, though.

I would be interested in seeing the Children’s Crusade where the Young Avengers with the help of Magneto trying to find Wanda who lost her memories who by the way is with Doctor Doom!

YES! I thunk the Young Avengers plot that we're eventually getting could be WAY underrated. Marvel is opening things up and giving themselves some cool freedoms in their cinematic universe. (Alfredo)

I don’t like the idea of Vic or any ancillary character being a future Batman villain. Gotham is the largest American city in the DC universe with like 20 million people. Cant there be stories about people/citizens?

Agreed. I think Marvel and Comic book movies in general have trained us to believe everyone has to be someone bigger than expected. Vic making a jump to being any type of major villain would be a massive unprecedented stretch for DC

To be fair, I get the show, I’ve just watched a lot of stuff and this just isn’t something I enjoy. I’m unsure of age or what you watch, but I don’t care for predictability or unoriginality. That’s what this feels like to me. It has good/original things but it only flashes once or twice an episode because they’re buried under icing. I’ve just watched better versions of genre love letters

And you seemed like one of those super critical people that sound really elitist (only sound because I really don't know you personally) to shows that are not critically acclaimed. It's just a fun show on Halloween time.

Well, i don't know if this answers any of your questions but, The Witches' Road is one of the bubbles that composes the Omega World and it serves as a pathway to the home dimension of the Goddess of Witchcraft. This is also where Wanda and Agatha got to meet with the past version of her mother, Natalya Maximoff, the previous Scarlet Witch, and the one who also helped her walk the road to its end, then later arriving to a weakened state of their Goddess, who's being corrupted by an abstract entity called Chaos. Agatha is probably going to seek their goddess's help to regain her power. But then again, we don't know for sure if Marvel will be going with what is in the comics.

I had low expectations for the show but I've been pleasantly surprised. I especially enjoyed this last episode. The camera work used during the trial was so fun and creative. The use of all those cool 70s filming techniques such as zoom, split screen, and even a split diometer shot (in a Marvel show!) really gave the trial momentum and helped capture the era. I loved that they used a metronome in place of a clock this time. I thought the reveal that Lorna's most popular song is a protection spell (that is always being played somewhere) was really clever and thoughtful. I also loved the juxtaposition between Agatha's reaction to Sharon's death and Teen's injury, because it made that last moment with Rio really brutal. Unlike most marvel shows, it feels like there is a great deal of thoughtfulness that went into the storytelling and the creative choices of the show. I also think teen is clearly Wiccan, but I'm more interested in his motives. I found it interesting that the demon marked and burned the coven, but it instead tossed him aside (it also didn't touch Rio). I'm also interested in what Rio did to Agatha. I wonder if it's something relating to her son.

Wow, this was all really well said! I think he’s Wiccan, as well. It looks like Marvel is announcing another project in which they’ll be “looking for Wanda’s other son” - so yeah… he’s definitely Wiccan. The show definitely has a lot of fun and it’s not bad, like Jagger said. It’s definitely theater-coded and more likely to land with artsier folks. However, I do hope it starts to reveal more and stop stringing us along for a big finale letdown- I want Agatha to make hard choices and see the character depth. I’m still very much intrigued by the show as a whole. Thanks for the comments! I hope we earned your subscription and that you enjoyed Unbinged. -Alfredo

I'm enjoying the show but episode 5 needs to pick it up. its getting very slow. I agree its formulaic which is fine but they have hinted at big reveals and you can only do that so many times before you have to start to reveal something

@@UnbingedPod As a non-comic book nerd to me it goes back to movies and shows. Ra's just hasn't really impressed me. Same with Bane. he comes off in the dark night movies as just the muscle for Ra's and Talia that's my biggest knock on both of them. Ra's needs Bane to be his muscle. Bane is just muscle doing someone else's work. I watched the animated series as a kid and I don't remember them ever being in it. For me the villains I remember are Mr freeze, riddler, cat woman, joker, clayface, two face.

I just re-watched How I Met Your Mother. i couldn't finish the last season. it is so so bad and that's the season where they get into actually meeting the mother. Simpsons is way too low. I think the early season gets dragged by the later season but it's still funny if you watch new episodes toda

I think That 70's Show is good. I think its high on the list. I agree its the last of the coming of age shows. But in terms of funny it seems like the same thing over and over again.
