I had low expectations for the show but I've been pleasantly surprised. I especially enjoyed this last episode. The camera work used during the trial was so fun and creative. The use of all those cool 70s filming techniques such as zoom, split screen, and even a split diometer shot (in a Marvel show!) really gave the trial momentum and helped capture the era. I loved that they used a metronome in place of a clock this time. I thought the reveal that Lorna's most popular song is a protection spell (that is always being played somewhere) was really clever and thoughtful. I also loved the juxtaposition between Agatha's reaction to Sharon's death and Teen's injury, because it made that last moment with Rio really brutal. Unlike most marvel shows, it feels like there is a great deal of thoughtfulness that went into the storytelling and the creative choices of the show. I also think teen is clearly Wiccan, but I'm more interested in his motives. I found it interesting that the demon marked and burned the coven, but it instead tossed him aside (it also didn't touch Rio). I'm also interested in what Rio did to Agatha. I wonder if it's something relating to her son.

Wow, this was all really well said! I think he’s Wiccan, as well. It looks like Marvel is announcing another project in which they’ll be “looking for Wanda’s other son” - so yeah… he’s definitely Wiccan. The show definitely has a lot of fun and it’s not bad, like Jagger said. It’s definitely theater-coded and more likely to land with artsier folks. However, I do hope it starts to reveal more and stop stringing us along for a big finale letdown- I want Agatha to make hard choices and see the character depth. Well, i don't know if this answers any of your questions but, The Witches' Road is one of the bubbles that composes the Omega World and it serves as a pathway to the home dimension of the Goddess of Witchcraft. This is also where Wanda and Agatha got to meet with the past version of her mother, Natalya Maximoff, the previous Scarlet Witch, and the one who also helped her walk the road to its end, then later arriving to a weakened state of their Goddess, who's being corrupted by an abstract entity called Chaos. Agatha is probably going to seek their goddess's help to regain her power. But then again, we don't know for sure if Marvel will be going with what is in the comics.

To be fair, I get the show, I’ve just watched a lot of stuff and this just isn’t something I enjoy. I’m unsure of age or what you watch, but I don’t care for predictability or unoriginality. That’s what this feels like to me. It has good/original things but it only flashes once or twice an episode because they’re buried under icing. I’ve just watched better versions of genre love letters

And you seemed like one of those super critical people that sound really elitist (only sound because I really don't know you personally) to shows that are not critically acclaimed. It's just a fun show on Halloween time.

I'm enjoying the show but episode 5 needs to pick it up. its getting very slow. I agree its formulaic which is fine but they have hinted at big reveals and you can only do that so many times before you have to start to reveal something

@@UnbingedPod But does she? or is it just your parks and recs love clouding things? every other thing Ive seen her in she was okay. if they would have cast her to be Jen and then cast Sasheer Zamata as Rio it would have been 100x better.
