I Bought a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8 V6 with a 62TE transmission. I bought this van in June '24 and got the check engine light coming on at end of Oct '24. I got a code for P084B. I took it to a mechanic to get checked and was told its a internal pressure senor. The mechanic also told me that the van has a new transmission in it which i wasnt aware of. After finding out its a Jasper Transmission and still under warranty they replaced it with a new transmission and still got the same code showing up. Also found out by Jasper that the original transmission was replaced in May '24 and i bought it June '24. Jasper called the dealership where i bought the van and was told that when the transmission was replaced they also had the same code P084B. So its 3 times this code shows up with 2 new transmissions. No one can give me a clear answer snd seems like no one wants to deal with it. Any advice as what i should do?

Nice video brother, Do the spark plugs need to be seated all the way till no threads are visible or until snug and 1/4 turn after? Thanks ✌🏻

The actual removal/installation looks simple enough. However, I've been hearing horror stories regarding electrical issues developing when the power is disconnected. Modules failing, radios becoming "locked" due to anti-theft technology, etc. Some say "use a memory saver to prevent these problems." Others say "Don't ever use a memory saver because it will overload the OBD port with incoming voltage." What is the proper procedure here?

@automotivetech-vet 23 күн бұрын
If it's just a little piece laying inside of there that you can't get out it's not going to hurt anything it'll just stay there It won't mess with the flow or nothing like that I promise as long as your new thermostat seats and seals you'll be okay

Good video, but @timandries1631 said it perfectly. You shadowed the part, which I'm having trouble finding info about. Also, you were about to say where this part is found on the 4 cyl. Why'd you stop? Thats exactly what I need to know. It's frustrating that you had really good info to share, but you either hid it in the dark or stopped short of saying it. What the heck? Don't tease me, bro!

THANKS for the video. We are in a small town and I go to the Chevy dealership for my service because they warranty parts and labor. The engine light came on with the P0013 code. Then it would go out for a few days and come back on. I did not experience any driving issues. The dealership labor is HIGH and then take a big markup on parts. I was able to complete the repair in about 20 minutes and less than $90 for both AC Delco sensors from Amazon. Cleared the codes and started right up - no engine light. I checked the old sensors and the exhaust was within limits but the intake was all over the place. I only have 1k miles on the oil change, but will schedule a change. Thanks again for the best out of a dozen or so videos I watched.
