Seals were generally healthy and all 25 tested negative for infections for morbillivirus and Influenza-A. Three had antibodies for Influenza-A, one had antibodies for Toxoplasma, and seven had antibodies for Brucella however, indicating previous exposure. All of which were within normal ranges. We are conducting further testing to determine the strain(s) of Influenza-A including for H5N1 or "avian influenza".

People think I'm nuts, but even with a few barnacles attached to them, I think oysters are one of the most beautiful and amazing creatures in the ocean. _Most definitely one of the most delicious! (right behind sea urchins!)_

I did see a recent video 2023 or 2024 that said the U.S. only uses .05% of available ocean acreage.

Land recognitions are divisive. If the land belongs to them, why are you occupying the place? Work to build one Alaskan society, united. Dahlstrom is a terrible speaker.

Ancient history is essential for everyone to know, especially the sixteen original civilizations. 1. The first inhabitants of Italy (K) 2. Thracians (L) 3. Siberians (N) 4. East Assists (O) 5. Medes (PQ) 6.. Western Europeans (R) 7. Mediterranean Greek sea people (T) 8. Hebrews and Arabic (IJ) 9. Elamites (H) 10. Assyrians (G) 11. Arameans (F1) 12. Lydians (F2) 13. Cushites (AB, C & D) 14. Egyptians (E3) 15. Canaanites (E2) 16. Original North African Phoenicians (E1) The D haplogroup of Canaan migrated east all the way to Japan. The C haplogroup of Nimrod migrated to South Asia, the Pacific, Tibet, Mongolia and all the way to the Americas along with Q haplogroup descendants of Madai ancestor of the Medes. The A maternal mtDNA haplogroup belonging to the N lineage accompanied the Q paternal haplogroup. The C&D maternal haplogroups belong to the M lineage. The B maternal haplogroup seems to have crossed the Pacific Ocean. The Mediterranean paternal R1b and the maternal X2a also found in Galilee represent an Atlantic crossing of the Phoenicians in the days of King Solomon considering also the Mediterranean paternal haplogroups of T, G, I1, I2, J1, J2, E and B in addition to the R1b in Native American Populations.

Humans came into being during the last interglacial period, survived through the following glacial period, and then emerged into the current interglacial period to where we are now. We’ve done it all before and thrived, this panic is ridiculous.

The so called "double knot" is a clove hitch Clove hitches are NOT recommended A much better knot is the ground line hitch It takes just as much time to make, and it is much tighter and more secure

Apparently it takes at least TWO YEARS to obtain approval for a kelp farm permit in Alaska. Sounds like miles and miles of red tape, especially if you might need to factor in indigenous peoples. Also I imagine you can count on one hand the number of sites in the state where you'll have reasonable access most of the year, as the video recommends.

Is there a way to mimic the membrane function with a manufactured filter? I'm wondering what the chemistry is that allows the gills and the membrane to divert CO2 to the shell-building process. It seems to me that this is quite like the carbonate I get when using slaked lime to extract CO2 from a carbonated solution? Can you point me to a source on this process? Thanks!
