Seals were generally healthy and all 25 tested negative for infections for morbillivirus and Influenza-A. Three had antibodies for Influenza-A, one had antibodies for Toxoplasma, and seven had antibodies for Brucella however, indicating previous exposure. All of which were within normal ranges. We are conducting further testing to determine the strain(s) of Influenza-A including for H5N1 or "avian influenza".
