Would like to see someone do this with the Artkal mini 2.6MM beads. 2500 beads per square. Tape method went horrible several times. Just decided screw it, I'd rather warp a couple dollar pegboard and get the fuse complete than risk losing ~1000 beads off the board.

Before watching this video I wasn't able to find any masking tape so i used basic scotch tape... BAD IDEA, I dont advice anyone on trying it. Not only it was a pain to stick to the beads without messing up, the tape shrunk! Well, I expected it but i was still hopeful. I'm so glad I found your channel and I wish that you'll upload more! I'm a crocheter too so I would love to see any of your projects!

I have the larger one which a set of beads came in and the smaller ones which other beads came in. I wasn't a big fan of those and I tried the drawers but found them too cumbersome I got a large number of small storage tubs which came in sets of six and I use one for each colour. They don't have lids but that's fine and they weren't very expensive. I had two sets that came separated by colour in the one tier containers and the most recent set came in the multi tier container. Some colours were separated and the others were two colours in each section Transferring them over is taking time and each tub can hold about 1000 beads but I use labels to identify which sets they come from as I have beads from four different companies and they're not all exactly the same shades and I also label the colour they're listed as

@BigBossRazzАй бұрын
I stated in another video that you couldn’t poke holes in mini beads and I was DEAD WRONG lol. I think you can and should, but ya might be able to get away with it if you don’t poke holes. At least, in my experience, I’ve had more mishaps with regular sized beads when I don’t poke holes than I have with the mini beads, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, ya know? TLDR: poke holes just in case!

If so, was it complicated or have you faced any issues? Your response will guide me for solutions about the preservation of the coaster in long term. Have a good day!

Heya! Since I like to have the flat melt side glued to the cork, I never notice any drips if it falls down in there. If it ever falls onto the thin out-facing side, a gentle wet wipe or wet paper towel wipe should do the trick! I rarely if ever have to clean them though. I hope that helps!

Can you iron perler beads while they are still on the pegboard? Or do you HAVE to tape it?
@BigBossRazz3 ай бұрын
Can you? Sure! Should you? Probably not. In many folks’ experience, the more the iron on the pegboard itself, the more likely it is that the heat from the iron will warp the pegboard and render it useless eventually. Hope that helps!

@BigBossRazz3 ай бұрын
I think I get what you mean. That idea works! If it’s difficult to work in reverse, you can always place your beads as normal and use another pegboard to flip the design. You make a pegboard sandwich and just rotate it if that makes sense.

First off, I just started doing perler beads as a new art hobbie and I found your channel through tutorials. Your channel is amazing and has helped me a lot! Keep up the good work! Second off, my main problem as an artist is the community/making friends. I really want to make friends and be surrounded by great artistic people, but I'm also afraid of getting rejected by people and I suffer from social anxiety. Also past trauma has made it more difficult. My current solution is going to therapy, but its one of those things that takes time. I just hope that one day I'll be in a mentally better state to make friends and be comfortable around people again.

This method is infuriating when you've just finished a smaller piece, place exactly one tape piece wrong, and want to start screaming and swearing when you have to adjust the tape and everything goes to pieces. Don't think I'll be doing this, since I mostly do small themed board pieces - I'll just stick my boards under the heavy object while warm as well to avoid bending. Appreciate the warmth and friendliness in the instructions though.
