Well folks it's actually back on the box each day at 2:00 pm Mon to Friday on U&Drama Sky 143. Wasn't a huge fan of it but at least it wasn't as dull and grey as Eastenders.

It may have been first and foremost a children's programme, but the dialogue was far beyond that..."No wonder the railways were nationalised" "The country is really going to the dogs..Oh no what am I saying..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's Eric Thompson for you. The man who would have normal conversions with babies in prams (at least according to his wife Phyllida Law)

@@davidcrook5511 Funnily enough Gordon Rollings and Eric Thompson were both Play School hosts, along with Phyllida Law, and various others like Brian Cant (Trumptonshire) and Derek Griffiths.

That policeman sure put up a good fight against 2 Cybermen. Shooting 3 bullets into the mouth of the 1st one and then using the cyber gun against the 2nd before he got killed by another Cyberman. Surely, the Doctor & Peri had taken him back to Earth after defeating the Cybermen later on.

I was on TOR Britannia & TOR Scandinavia every week, from Felixstowe and Amsterdam to Göteborg, I didn’t see any filming or the series, but as far as ferries go these two boats were as good as it got in the 1970s for lorry drivers. I think we had more fun on board than they did, I often got off in Felixstowe swapped trailers in the dock and back on the same boat, the crews were brilliant, I used the ships laundry, went to crew parties and generally had a good time, we had first class en-suite cabins to ourselves. We were given vouchers for food, cinema, sauna & duty free, I miss those days 😊 (For the anoraks I started going over with a Volvo F86, then an F88 and later with M.A.Ns 16:232 &16:280 usually 40’ tilts, occasionally 40’ dry boxes or fridges)
