I love it! I have a nikon Z5 and NIkon D7200 and I love them, the D7200 IMO is better in low ligth than the Z5, but i´d love to buy this one to replace my D7200. Some day i´ll get it.... some day...

As a wedding videographer, what are your thoughts about the Z6iii not recording video to both memory cards?
@WhiteinreveryАй бұрын
In the 12+ years of filming weddings, we have never once recorded to two cards at the same time. Also. the CF Express B card is very robust and would be more reliable than SD cards in my opinion.
@3akoscielskiАй бұрын
@@Whiteinrevery Very interesting to hear! I am so scared of losing footage with only 1 card. My wife (photographer) had a CF Express Type B card go corrupt once (she had the SD card as backup) so I am still a little scared of something happening. We didn't try to repair or salvage the data on the card though, it was under warranty so we sent it straight back to ProGrade. It was an Amazon purchase, so we wonder if that had something to do with it. Waiting to hear back from ProGrade and get a replacement right now.

@@Whiteinrevery I watched your BTS video of the Z6iii Wedding Video, and noticed you have an Atomos Ninja on your gimbal and/or cage in some instances. Were you only using these as monitors or were you also recording to them? I was thinking of buying an Atomos Ninja to record a backup of the footage, but also have the benefit of the larger monitor.
@WhiteinreveryАй бұрын
@@3akoscielski we used them strictly for monitoring. No need to record to them as the internal CF Express B card captures internal raw. You no longer need a monitor for that like you did in the original Z6 camera to record N-Log.
@3akoscielskiАй бұрын
@@Whiteinrevery Okay thanks. I'm thinking of getting one mainly as a backup source, but a monitor seems like a great addition. I just watched your video on your setup on the Ronin-S and thinking of duplicating it (I bought a used one off facebook). Thanks for replying, really appreciate it!

The flashing issue can be caused by extra long length data wires. The interference between power lines and the data signal builds with each LED strip to wire transition in the system, which corrupts the signal, causing the random flashing. To fix the issue, you just have to add an in-line, or series, resistor to the data line before the data input of the next strip. I would only do this before the strips that are actually having the issues. <1000 ohms should be fine, just like this picture here europe1.discourse-cdn.com/arduino/original/4X/2/c/4/2c4826c3fec046b701bf125f133b84cb93ecd71e.png
