Woof this game did not age well at all. Combination of the bad camera angles, glitchy movement, and the emerald levels sucking absolute ass, this game was definitely a league behind the first Adventure. I will give props where it is due, the final battle is one of the best.

i like to see that i always take the same path in the level when there are al lot of ways to win, almost all of the things in the enviorement are solid and a path

5 year old me didn’t expect this game to go so hard when I first played it back when it first came out. I legit thought that the sound track was songs that already existed. Didn’t know it was just for Sonic. They went so over the top on this and I love it because it reminds me of the “extreme” aesthetic from the early 2000’s. I think this game gives me the he perfect sense of that! So grateful for the childhood memories.

After playing frontires and shadow generations I really understand the difference in level objectives. In unleashed and generations the goal is to "find a way to never stop moving". In frontires and shadow generations the objective is to "get through the level as fast as you can".

The finale of my Sonic Adventure 2 HD playthrough. I found the final boss to be more fun than I remembered, mostly because of the music. :P A couple deaths were edited out of the Biolizard fight for watchability.
