Ok so first and formost, i love all the effort that went into this. It really feels like Dark and Light suits were apart of Prime 1 all along. And ZSS gave me a really good laugh :D But jokes aside, i need to ask something: Having seen Prime 2's Samus face in Prime 1's cinematic, am I the only one that strongly prefers the face we got in OG Prime 1? There are two types of cutscenes. Pre-rendered and In-engine. Pre-rendered cutscenes are made using an animation program and are stored as videos in the game files. In-engine cutscenes use programmed animations within the game to play out a scene.

The light suit. A mix of Luminoth and Chozo technology. The suit's design showcases both cultures. One flaw with the suit, however: it does NOT protect Samus from direct contact with phazon. Not sure if this went noticed or not. But in Prime 1 and 3 the Phazon and PED suits, respectively, did just that. You would think the fusion suit of both those races would be able to provide immunity. The PED suit from Corruption was actually an inferior version of the phazon suit using the federation's design schematics. With it Samus could dive freely into phazon pools and restore life energy. Of course one could argue that it was a side effect of Samus being corrupted directly as well. But it's still curious that the light suit doesn't offer protection at all.

Reverse engineering the model/skeleton/skin formats and writing a tool to convert the model from Echoes's format to Prime 1's format, then a tool to modify the Samus skin files from Echoes to work with the Samus skeleton from Prime 1.

I still notice that Samus's rear stands out in the Dark suit. From the abdomen of the dark suit down honestly looks like the influence of a swimsuit on the actual suit. Ever notice the nicely rounded and shiny buttplates and how the abdomen and legs of the suit look almost like tanned skin? 6:17

That'd be tricky. Samus was larger in Prime 1 than 2, which isn't much of an issue (*cough* Zero suit *cough*) as models can stretch. But importing Prime 1 Samus models into 2 would compac them, making Samus look crushed.

Hey, is there a way to tell what CMDL's are what? I know how to convert them into 3d files I can work with, but my biggest issue is that I have no clue what file is what before I convert them since they're not exactly named. So like, I have no clue which file is the Power Suit, Varia, Ridley, Geemer, etc. Any help with that?

The only real way to tell is to open a map in the editor and then check what models are being used by different objects. Sorting by size is also a good way to quickly find more significant models. Power Suit is f39476f2, Varia Suit is 776c1a96, Ridley is b2b41738, and I don't know Geemer off the top of my head.

Distributing only files that need to be changed would require a ton of setup (I know what I'm doing and it still took me a good 30 minutes+ to get it set up). So I don't intend to release anything at least until there's a more robust method in place to actually distribute them.

I modded a Sonic game a long time ago to change Sonic into Metal Sonic. Despite it being a small mod, I had no way to pack the modded files into a folder to distribute for download, which may (or may not) be a similar situation you have, Paraxade0. I said that in the video description and even put annotations about it in the main video... people STILL demanded a download for it and questioned why I couldn't do it. It's annoying lol. People ask, "Why not?/What do you mean?" and I just ignore them, anymore, lol. If I say I can't do it, I CAN'T DO IT! XD
