You are driving great man!! I would love to understand how do you turn the cart using the feet. Any tips?
@vybhavshinde5 ай бұрын
It’ll come naturally to you with regular practice. Most karts (especially rental) won’t be aligned perfectly. It’ll tend to steer better in one direction than the other. Regardless, you can use the brake to induce rotation in the direction of the corner by sharply pressing the brake once quickly on corner entry and slightly steering into the corner. The braking causes dive thereby increasing the front end grip required for steering and also reduces the grip of the rear tyres which can be thrown into a small oversteer / slide. This way you can be on the throttle and carry the slide thereby making your exits quicker. This is just one of the styles of driving to get quicker. Different drivers use different approaches to go quicker. For me personally, I feel this works efficiently on this particular track for the way I drive.
@ashvinsharma97Ай бұрын
@sushantpanwar805 This is not efficient in every corner. Drifting slows you down. I’m pretty sure OP can do better than 55s if he stops drifting on every curve.
@Myaccountyt8 ай бұрын
Bro what is the fastest lap on this track? By anyone i mean, not just you
@vybhavshinde8 ай бұрын
The layout of the track is changed regularly. And now they have times updated often. They give you the list of fastest times on that particular day or that particular week. So you can check those and then compare yourself. Besides, even a small change in the placement of the barricade can make you faster or slower by 0.5 second. So it really doesn't matter. You just drive to the best of your ability and aim to get quicker.

@@vybhavshinde Oh... understood. Which track would you recommend someone that only has experience with 7bhp karts and wants to try the 16bhp karts?
@vybhavshinde9 ай бұрын
@@ajaykiran6 only meco kartopia has something which they call the “Level2” which they claim is 16bhp engines. Those are decent but the handling on those is not great. The only 2 tracks which give these fast gokarts to public are Aruani Grid and Meco kartopia. Not sure if any other track in Bangalore has equivalent karts. But my suggestion is drive the rotax which is supposedly 20+ bhp. You’ll surely enjoy those if you enjoy driving gokarts. Kartopia sometimes don’t give the rotax to people above 70kgs.

what category of rally does the zen fall into? and is it a good car for rallying? as a beginner ? heavy financial support required for making a zen rally compatible?
@vybhavshinde Жыл бұрын
Zen was not a car used often in Indian rally. However, it was homologated and was eligible to be used as a Rally car in National events. Zen can be used for Autocross formats and such similar events and the build cost for that entirely depends on your personal budget. Currently, the Zen cannot be used in any of the categories of Indian Rallying. The INRC 4 category allows only the Honda City VTec, Maruti Esteem and Maruti Baleno homologated prior to 31st December 2007.

What's your fastest and average lap time on this track? Also, pretty interesting that you're keeping the brake application to the minimum. Why is that? I'm curious
@vybhavshinde2 жыл бұрын
I don't remember what my lap times were during this event. And I don't remember the fastest lap either. It was a decent time. Lighter drivers will be able to clock much better times. Brake application is minimum because the track is quite tight and the karts are not that fast that you need to be slowing down so significantly. And most of the retardation is happening just by so much steering input. More steering input = more rolling resistance. And in order to cut down on lap times you need to try to drive the kart with minimal steering inputs so that you don't scrub too much speed. Just the right amount for any particular corner
