I recently cleaned the soles of my Red Wing Moc Toe 1907s. I used white saddle soap, kitchen paper towels and a teaspoon. I rubbed in the saddle soap, and then scraped it off with the edge of the spoon. I then cleaned up any excess with the kitchen paper towel. My family is from Red Wing MN. In 1952 Red Wing Shoe Company (locals refer to it as "the Shoe") introduced the original Oro Russet Leather moccasin toe hunting boot.
