Wonderful production. I did have to laugh at the 15-minute mark, the guy scrunching the plastic shopping bag. So intent, watching the conductor, looking at his sheet music. What does sheet music for shopping bag even look like? 😂😂

My partner sadly passed away 8 years ago, but he used to bring me to our bedroom, wrapped me in blankets, closed the curtains and put me in bed with this music/album on to calm me down after I've had suffered a panic attack or mental breakdown. He would cuddle up to me and gently rocked me from side to side to the music together until I calmed down and then a little longer. He knew exactly when I needed this and I really appreciated every time he did this and I miss it so. Listening to Riceboy Sleeps brings me back to those memories and It makes me feel so sad, but so thankful at the same time for having been able to love him and spend time with him and having had his love like this for this little time in my life. I loved him so much. So thank you, Jónsi & Alex. For being able to capture this and keeping that particularlar memory alive for me.

@@HirikiW Thank you for your words, they mean a lot to me... I am going through some very turbulent times... I have generalized anxiety and chronic depression, this is something that is hard to deal with day to day... fortunately my taste in movies, music and video games help me a lot to cope with everything,...plus I almost have no friends.....my best friend died in 2006....he was someone from another planet....a great human being and their friendship was the greatest gift I had... the music of Sigur Ros, for example, makes me reflect on what I have experienced and what I experience daily and so on several other artists, but they and Jonsi as a soloist changed my life... thank you for reading all this!!🥹🥹🥹

Thank you to Jonsi, Alex Somers + all of the artists that played on this show, it really means a lot. Earlier i was addicted to the Walt DIsney Concert Hall live version of Sigur Ros with LA Phillharmonic, which i'm gonna say, i always will be but this is definitely added to my list of 'those' rare concerts. THANKS A TON. Much Love.

I do not exaggerate when I say, this is the best concert I ever watched. Tears almost running whenever I listen to that epic music. It is touching and gives meaning to life. Sounds absurd, but I have never ever experienced something like this. Does anyone know whether there is a chance that they will do that concert again somewhen from 2023? No matter where, I would go!

Unfortunately, the sound quality is very poor, as KZbin compresses the audio track down to 44100Hz stereo 128Kb/s. Thus, it is not a sound pleasure. That is a pity.
