My partner sadly passed away 8 years ago, but he used to bring me to our bedroom, wrapped me in blankets, closed the curtains and put me in bed with this music/album on to calm me down after I've had suffered a panic attack or mental breakdown. He would cuddle up to me and gently rocked me from side to side to the music together until I calmed down and then a little longer. He knew exactly when I needed this and I really appreciated every time he did this and I miss it so. Listening to Riceboy Sleeps brings me back to those memories and It makes me feel so sad, but so thankful at the same time for having been able to love him and spend time with him and having had his love like this for this little time in my life. I loved him so much. So thank you, Jónsi & Alex. For being able to capture this and keeping that particularlar memory alive for me.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of music, what a wonderful treat on this Easter. I saw this concert here in Colorado at the Paramount in Denver. The only concert i went to last year, i remember i was vacillating on going cause i had surgery i was saving for in January, but, i'm so glad i went. Watching - listing to this concert again, albeit a different but similar. This brings tears to this girls eyes because this really sings to my heart and rekindles memory of that incredible evening. I talked with a foreigner about Sigur Ros and Jonsi, and the impact they've had on our lives, and part way through i started crying and he asked are you okay, and i said yes, its just so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this, brings allot of joy to me today, thank you.
