I got one from harbor freight a month ago. I love it. You will learn on your own how far back to let the ram go for your next piece of wood. I split about a cord of wood in week. It was a whole mid size maple. There were a couple of pieces that had major knots and it just wouldn’t break them. On the pro side no motor maintain no oil change and storage is easy.😮

Under $200?? I bought the exact same splitter at Harbor Freight for $99 with a 20% off coupon a few years back! I only use it to split rounds. The wood you are splitting is good enough for me to run in my wood heater. I do not understand why so many folks split wood so small....unless it is green and they are trying to get it to dry out. I have split up to 22" diameter pieces 20" in length with my splitter and it works great! Not fast, but I am not in a hurry. I always get my wood ready the year before I need to burn it so I am burning aged wood. I do like your tip on using a block spacer, but I use a piece of treated 4X4 which is the right length so I do not have to worry about bending the side holders.

Have a 22' Load-trail, Load-max deck-over and it "Angle-lates" Sky high at 21° and 9.5' high to ZERO & STILL does'ent work for a dump trailer. It "ramps up" SO HIGH that driving up with equipment MUST be in Four Wheel drive 99% of the time & Super dry conditions. I believe 40° plus is the minimum to dump brush--- that's why they make dump trailers, aka 45-50° dump articulation. My formula to get my rig to dump--; is to tie the load ( underbelly) attached to a anchor point, pull foward( load slides off) & gather ALL my rigging = 15-20minuite plus process. All kind of "Fred Flintstone & Barney Rubble" technology = crude but not always effective. Your "dump-a-matic " system was a "miracle " that it DID Work. Thank you for the great Video Sir and happy dumping.

Appreciate the video; however, you are asking way too much. With height and density of grass, I am surprised it's doing what it's doing. Bushhog mow first then use the mower. You keep this up you will ruin a decent piece of equipment and pay for it in the long run. I love my DH pull behind and wheeled string mower. My 2 cents.
@TodayinKansasCity2 жыл бұрын
This model is actually a *brush* mower, with the sling-type blades mounted on a rotating disc. It is not a finish mower. The manufacturer claims that it can mow through tall thick grass and small saplings.
@concretechrissantoro23232 жыл бұрын
My friend two things the rear of the trailer deck is 2 to 3 feet longer so it can be a tilt drive up on the trailer when you jack it up you can only go as high as that breeder that trailer will let you which is not high enough to dump a load like that in order to make it a dump trailer you have to cut 2 foot off of the rear of the trailer put a bigger cylinder with electric power and then you have a dump trailer which you will need to add two ramps pull out Ranch

I've got one of these myself and agree with the other commenter in saying use a block spacer when it's needed. Some logs I've done have required a spacer to split because they've been short in length. It's a good investment for anyone with an indoor fireplace or wood stove. There have been times that the logs I try to split are probably too large, but the machine still goes through them. Another thing I feel it does is work like a rowing machine if you're using both handles at one time.

7:30 is when you lost me, you installed the push bumper to "park by touch, or push anything around". First off I if I witnessed you parking by touch on my car you'd have a problem on your hands and I'd have the real Police there to deal with you. There was no reason to install the push bumper other than you wanted it to look like an in service FPIU. Your what us old school Crown Vic guys call a Whacker. Beautiful car, video was very informative on how to modify the FPIU with Forscan, but dont try and justify your Whacker modifications.
@TodayinKansasCity3 жыл бұрын
"Park by touch" doesn't have to mean touching other vehicles. There are parking garage walls, bollards, trees, etc. that you can bump. I mainly was joking when I said that, but I did use the bumper to push some gates and shopping carts. Definitely false to say that I installed the bumper for looks.

Mine is the 2013 version. You know what makes these even more fun is adjusting the throuttle map. Mine was so damn slow with the shifting and takeoff that I got annoyed. So I started bumping up the foot pounds it outputs a little and it's way better. What is best about these vehicles is their turning radius. They can make a U turn most of the time without hitting the curb. Also the brakes are awesome too. Big rotors and stout struts. What does suck on these cars is their water pump change cost. My engine had to be removed for them to change because of it being driven by the timing chain. Good luck finding someone who isn't gonna try and rob you on that repair cost.

Definitely a dealer, at the auction only if you are willing to take a risk. The dealer usually performs baseline checks, idle hours, etc

3.7L is far more common, thus cheap. 3.5 is faster, but I’d prefer a cheaper and simpler naturally aspirated engine, especially if it has high mileage.
