Anyone know whats supposed to go on the idle i mean fuse wise like numbers and color i need to change mine especially the wire i found the bad ones the other day i just wanna know what everyone else is using for the idle

Mine is burning my fuses and the other day i found a wire got about 3 wires together thats been burnt wonder if thats the only spot thats been hopefully there's no other bad spots because i guess the idle wire isnt good and the burnt wire is probably the one that goes there because that wire also goes to the steering wheel column

I dont get it, you can just take the spring out like that ? My dad is telling me to wait till he gets home to do it together cause a spring can come out that and possibly kill someone.

@FLSHBAST yeah just put a jack under the lower control arm, pop your upper ball joint out, remove the sway bar link and slowly let the jack down. Make sure the trucks on jack stands obviously

Thank you for the video and info! Ended up purchasing same kit for my 86 K5 and installed myself. Used your video for a lot of reference. Everything works except for my wipers and washer fluid motor. Wires and connections appear to be in order. Any thoughts? Also, how’d you modify the harness to work 4x4 cluster indicator and shifter lamp?

I’d start with changing the switch if all your connection are in order. Dont just check for power at the switch, make sure its at least 12 volts. Check your fuses of course. On the 4x4 indicator, i ran a wire from the floor switch to the dakota digital dash. Theres a 4x4 lamp option for those dashes. For the little console light, I taped into the gauge lamps (dash lights). Great questions, Thanks for watching!

@solidfuze99 in this video it was a SBE 4.8, btr stage 1 truck cam, .585 springs, pushrods etc, 4l80 w/ 3800 converter, 3:73 gears and a On3 performance turbo kit a 78/75 turbo. Walbro 450 pump woth Deka 80 injectors. A solid 600hp setup and fun as hell. As of now, 2 yrs later, the truck makes 1200hp and runs 9s lol. Escalated very fast
