Thanks for the podcast, I'm sure your followers are in the know about this but just in case....just an FYI about the Pool eXact EZ. I contacted them about FC chlorine readings when shocking a pool and their max of 12ppm with the unit. I mentioned that with a CYA of 80 I needed a much higher shock level than 12ppm and was surprised to find out that there is a workaround. Here is part of my reply from them... If it is over 12 ppm, I would recommend doing a dilution, if you think the reading will be higher than 24 ppm, you can do a 1:2 dilution. You can use whatever measurement you want, but for example you could use 10 mL of your pool water, and add 20 mL of tap or distilled water, mix, and test. Whatever result you get you would multiply by 2. If you think the chlorine is still at 28 ppm, you could do a 1:3 dilution (10 mL pool water mixed with 30 mL tap water, multiply result by 3).

I replaced all the parts in your video. When I put it in the tracks do not move at all..I checked the suction. It's ok. The impeller is not moving either. All parts are tight. This was no big deal switching out parts and it worked before I messed with it. Any suggestions before I have to go to the pool store and get ripped off? Appreciate your help.

When using the lift control, without the phone app, how do you point the cleaning towards the pool edge you’re intending to lift from before you execute the lift command? My phone app is not connecting and I need to figure out how to navigate this towards the edge of the pool I want to lift from.

I will never buy a Polaris again. I have the 9550 that had the “never gets stuck 4WD”. Notice how the wheels spin and spin because the belly gets stuck in the step in the beginning of the video? It can do that for hours if you have a child’s safety ledge going around the perimeter of the pool. The brushes and front wheels have become useless and everyone has told us that they don’t repair the 9550 anymore because “the new model is out and they can’t get the parts for it anymore”. Whether that is Leslie’s employees or Pinch a Penny’s (not Polaris) employees making up garbage to fleece customers out of more money or not is irrelevant too. The point is that these cleaners don’t last long after warranty and once they break, nobody will be willing to fix them. Planned obsolescent trash. This video sounds like a paid endorsement of them. Avoid Polaris products at all cost.

Angain.. Sir, please tell me why the green lug does have a ground wire attached to it. Please I am very confused about this. Some times have the wire and some don't. The timers all come with the green ground lug so surely it should be connected..

How do you lessen the wear from tires with a Vinyl Pool liner. I have many high spots that had a larger grains of sand pushing up the liner, now I have wear spots where the color has worn off. I have the four wheel Pool Cleaner. A friend gave me his old two wheel Cleaner, and I was thinking about going to the two wheel for less tire contact. My concern is the tires wearing holes in the liner. I bought a Navigator with cork feet, but it won't climb out of my deep end, I even adjusted the dial to the number 3, it helped but still doesn't go to my shallow end.

I inserted a small plastic shim in the center on both sides of the shaft in the center(under the blue cover) and it took all the play out.

My whisper flo pump was humming and it clicked, timer box stopped working at that very moment.. The breaker did not flip. I am going with a new 240v timer and a new 50 capacitor for the whisper Flo 3/4 hp. Mark all wires like you did here. Breaker off..Hoping this does the trick.

I didn't see anywhere in the video where the app shows the chlorine level in ppm. I thought that was the whole point of the plus model, so that it could hold a certain ppm of chlorine and not over chlorinate the hot tub.
