The fact that someone is able to do these things by ear makes me want to sell all my instruments. Luckily mine are all so cheap that, what's the point of selling them :D

I don't understand how you tie that to a specific song though? The arrangement view isn't song specific?

How would you set this up for a whole set. Just one long song with the midi in place or would you add seperate midi tracks for each song?

Thanks for your post. How do you change the parameters to achieve a continuous hold, rather than one that decays?
@tensago
@tensago 3 жыл бұрын
thats a good question. its a while ago now and i can't remember if the delay had a hold function. i don't think it did. you could try setting the feedback to 100%

@@tensago Thanks for that. Yes that works thanks. The only problem is that you can't 'ride' the hold effect on the volume pedal. I'm guessing that you could do it with a second expression pedal and some programming......but...I'm still in the early days of working out how the GT works. Lots to learn!

Can you briefly explain how to set presets? For example, I want channel one on my axe fx to be preset one on my mfc. How can I make that happen? This has not been explained to me and I can't find any instructional videos on it.

do you mean so that the reset on the mic (001) will be 001 on the age fx at the same time? if so you need to go to are fx ii, press i/o choose midi tab and set the parameter display offset to 1

Great Video I have the older model atomic reactor 112-50 it looks the same inside ..are the values the same for my R18 , also Atomic told me to measure 28-35mV where are they getting this from? Thanks i think my amp was biased cold it sounded thin now its warm and full.
@tensago
@tensago 3 жыл бұрын
I got the numbers from atomic tech support. i would imagine the numbers being different for amps. they might use a different value resistor so you would expect a different voltage

@tensago

After setting up ableton preferences audio and midi to axf fx Choose Session View with TAB key, create and Audio or midi track, at the bottom of each track, but above the fader control is the input output selection. Here you can choose it.

@@tensago My Ultra takes a Bourns split shaft. I have had to replace these CB mini pots on a Blues Jr and have and iron with a heat control, so I feel ok with it. Some get by with a lite shot of Deoxit on the shaft. Many have this issue, and, from their web-site...other encoders (input and output) go bad too.

You leave out the most important part of the whole sound. Amp type and EQ settings.
@tensago
@tensago 4 жыл бұрын
hi, it is your opinion what is the most important part and i respect that. The video covers how to recreate the "sound on sound" effect used by David Gilmour during his acoustic 2001 set and his live 2006 set. The video is not a demonstration on recreating Gilmour's tone or his playing style. thanks for watching
@GS-gk6nf
@GS-gk6nf 4 жыл бұрын
That's fine to show. Thanks. Sound on sound is a separate subject. But when references to Gilmore it's tone and should be included since that's what most seek. Then again it's not important to me since I have my own tone. Was researching something. Cheers for the response, respect

PRESS EXIT. Next is to turn off the pedal from being a volume pedal- Push Expression pedal forward, Press CTRL/EXP button, use < > to reach EXP Pedal ON, and press the CTRL/EXP button again to turn off the expression pedal. EXP Pedal ON will now say EXP Pedal OFF. Press EXIT and save your preset. hope this helps
