Just keep adding thinner to the reflective polish and rolling the bottle. It takes patience and time. I wouldnt add base. Just keep adding thinner until it gets back to the consistency it should be. Also clean the threads and cap so it’s closed tight every time you use it or else it will just evaporate again.

Oops, I missed this one. This is an interesting one for me as whilst, like you, I don't get excited about brown/tan, when one catches my eye, it really is something special. Ooh "Jack" is absolutely divine on you! "Sunrise, Sunset" looks so cool. Colores de Carol "Truffle" would be in my top browns, as it has that holo and aurora shimmer mix which I adore.

Your red picks are absolutely beautiful! I normally gravitate towards darker vampier reds, but I've been branching out of my comfort zone a little bit and enjoying it more than I thought. For your reflective glitter, it might take a few days to revive with thinner--make sure butyl acetate and ethyl acetate are the only ingredients in the thinner, like with KBShimmer's (vintage polish is different). Definitely add more than the recommended 5 to begin with because of how dry the polish is. You might also have better luck with one of those vortex mixers to help mix the pigments with the base. Vintage Dusties has really informative videos on reviving vintage polish on tiktok and instagram, though I'm not sure if she's on youtube. I really hope you're able to revive that polish because she is an absolute stunner!

It wouldn't be a top red without Ruby Pumps hehe. Gosh "Spice Spice Baby" is perfection! I love Centaur of Attention - possibly my favourite of all. I love both versions I have hehe. Ooh Slug Bug has some wonderful deep cool tones in there. I think my favourite way to wear reds is rich and vampy, but shimmery/sparkly is good too hehe

I've had good success reviving my reflectives with thinner and glisten & glow's topcoat. Maybe that's wrong, but it works for me! Shame to give up on XOXO without trying- I love that polish :)

For your reflective glitter that you'd like to revive, maybe try adding some nail polish thinner shaking and turning it upside down for awhile. Then shake and upside down until the glitter is less stuck. Then, add a suspension base and maybe some luster base and it might revive. It worked for me.

I was so excited when I saw your video notification and planned to watch it while I wait for my mani to dry. Long story short instead of letting my green mani dry, I took it off again and reached for a red 😂. I owned or own all your picks and they are/were well loved except for Centaur of Attention, the WFL and xoxo - I don‘t own any of those. I would list BKL Man in Red, A England Perceval and Atomic Redrum for them. For today though I choose BKL Love Is Sharper Than Any Stake. It has a black base but that red shimmer is crazy beautiful

Colores de Carol ‘slappy’s tie’ is another good red - it’s a stainer tho. Great collection, I love reds also. Another good one is monarch lacquer ’love-struck’ Trust me, get it while she still has it in her shop. It’s very holographic and beautiful ❤ I also own colores de Carol ‘xoxo’ and mine is too thick to use also, I never wear it 😢

Reds are my fav so naturally loved this video 🥰 so…xoxo…i have similar issues with reflective glitter heavy polish. I usually have to use thinner and nail polish base to recover them but might opt for completely thinning them for use as dense toppers??? Haven’t decided yet. 🤔

Some great picks, I love reds. I have just received GLL's We Passed The Setting Sun and that is now one of my new favourites.

You covered several of my top reds in my collection, but I have to also suggest "Slappy's Tie" from Colores de Carol, "Never Sleep Again" and "Dinraal's Scales" from Cuticula, and "Makes Me Smile" from Tyler's Trinkets.

Gimme red polish, anytime, anywhere! My favourite winter shade is A List by Essie, raspberry leaning candied-apple colour.

I just got a couple of Colores de Carol for the first time, and I was amazed how beautifully sparkly they are compared to any others I have, but I haven't put them on my nails yet. One has Rudolph in the name and it's a deep pink and the other is called Cancer, I think, which is a beautiful tealy blue/green. I think you were the one who showed me her polishes at Dec PPU. As far as reds, I got ILNP Be Mine which is magnetic, but I haven't ever used it because it's not a blue red. I used to wear OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress and Cute Little Vixen, Sally Hansen Mad Women and Essie Forever Family. Looking at them, I need to watch your Magenta favs video again. I really would like to find a blue/red or magenta/deep pink magnetic if you know one to recommend. I got some China Glaze glitters in this color that I guess I could put over the top of my old colors. But I don't want gold or orange shimmers in anything since I am cool coloring and wear silver. I got polishes from Monarch as well in the mail yesterday and put a silver magnetic over a deep green that is looking pretty cool using the SS magnet to look a bit like a cross on my nails. I've just hopped on this video 2024 because this brand and maker of these polishes has stolen my heart. I'd never owned any flakies 💅😍😍😍now I can't stop buying it. TFS

One of my favorite "browns" is Nirvana by Sinful Colors, which is more of a taupe brown creme. Sounds really basic, but it just looks so classy on my nails, and the formula is really good too. I also picked up some brown shimmers from the China Glaze Body and Sol collection a few years ago; Send Hues and Glow-worthy are terrific! Hello, My Name Is Inogo Montoya by Moon Shine Mani is also a favorite of mine. Finally The Donkey Lady by Bees Knees Lacquer (an Indie Shop exclusive, I think) which is a bronzy brown magnetic, is pretty nice too, especially once I figured out how to do the velvet magnetic look! I agree w/ you about Cuticula; their crellies are really nice!

I am sooo glad you mentioned the bit about the Orly Breathable line. I too have a toddler (and a newborn) and I have been very curious about trying them because I don't have time for lengthy manicures with base and top coats. I couldn't find info online about how well they work without those. Might have to try!

This video was JUST what I needed. Looking for a royal or purply blue, possibly with some sparkle or shimmer, and an emerald green. This helped me see what they look like and to see a colour comparison with just the shades I wanted to see!
