Loved seeing all your newly acquired beauties! I frequently wear toppers but rarely over black. I really don't understand the trend for showing all polishes over black. Does anyone really buy a polish with the intention of doing that???? I did a no-buy 2023 and now in 2024 it's so much easier for me to pass on polishes. Unless one REALLY sticks in my mind and I assure myself it's totally unique to my collection, I do not buy. Once I finish a video, I usually forget about them, which is now my goal! TFS 😊❤

I love your haul and horrayyyy for maintaining the low-buy. I love low-buys as they make me choose more careful what I buy and what fits into my collection. If I want to do a low-buy, I can buy max the number of untrieds I wore the previous month. Comparing my wishlist with my untrieds works well too - for example I have a hang to buy sky blues but never wear them. I am banned from buying any until I have worn all my untrieds. The same goes for the likes of Ghouls and Goblins (though for that one I made an exception). But no more until I have worn all these untrieds.

Gorgeous! Yes, low buys are hard but one of the things that helps me is periodically doing an inventory, even if it’s only by color, because I hate dupes! lol

To help keep to my low buy (especially with things like ppu) not only do i have to like the polish but the name/inspo has to actually be something that I relate to, which was actually super helpful with the book covers ppu 😅

I’m on a no buy. Started this month and it’s going well. I just keep playing with what I have and getting back to changing colors almost every other day which helps with “color boredom”. Also making myself be realistic about what I already have and how new colors are so similar. And, how much I haven’t even worn yet.

I was ready to look for that one BKL in a destash but then you showed it next to Sassy’s Tink’s Wings and thank god those are similar enough 😂 i’m curious to know which one you’ll end up keeping! I think the flakies in SS are super gorgeous so I would lean towards that one too! But aw it looks like the bottle of Valley of the Dolls you picked up is faded 🥲 it originally was super bright, maybe brighter than Shopaholic even. My bottle looks the same now too, but its still makes for a lovely bleached neon! Yay for grabbing those ILNP shades too, i looove Empress and of course Fairy Dust is iconic 🤩

If I had to give up all my monthly subscriptions but one, I would keep Stella Chroma. Even if I'm not crazy about the color, her formula is always perfection. And it's so fun having a polish I wouldn't normally choose myself.

I think you might be right about the ease of glitter removal when sandwiched between jelly polishes, that's been my experience too

not normally a pink gal (goldish fair skin w freckles, yey!) but I'm loving the blue shimmers in these... I'm in a theatre group that is performing Mamma Mia and I will be required to rock a bright pink sequined dress - oye!
