This month's Bee's Knees Lacquer collection is inspired by the movie The Craft. These will launch on 10/18 at 7pm et. There will not be any limits on the number of polishes you can purchase from the collection.
Preorder ends 10/27 at 11:59pm et. There is a soft cap on items of 1000 ready to ship polishes. There will be a full collection option this month and you will receive a 15% discount if you decide to purchase the collection.

Thank you for the swatches. Perfect love looks a lot like a Ghost is a Wish. Also reminiscent of Guillermo Buillermo or Transmutation. And she released like three or so greys with pink / purple shimmer after reopening. Binding looks like a greyed out version of Bat! I also feel like the flakies in the Lion cousins look more like the old Lions before closure, so denser and a bit larger. I'm so here for that!

I saw some comparisons for Perfect Love from polish_bythedozen on IG since she has both. I don’t think it reminds me much of Guillermo because that base is grey. But I don’t have the other pinks. I can definitely see the similarities between Binding and Bat. I’m loving these cousins too!

Sure! So years ago there was a BKL polish called A Lion With A Thorn in Its Paw and people went wild for it! BKL has been making lots of cousins to this polish ever since that have the same shifty shimmer holo flakie finish. I love this finish from many brands, but I particularly love the way BKL does them as their holo flakes are super sparkly and rainbow and the shimmer is intense and shifty.

I wish I had those to compare. Mimic has a warmer base and shimmer. It looks more brown to me and shimmer looks teal leaning. I wouldn’t say they’re close, but it does look similar to You’re finally awake. I think Binding has more of a green shift in the shimmer and a creamier formula.

I don’t have Wyrd unfortunately but they look close to me. Wyrd is described as having a charcoal base and South a mahogany base so I would guess South is warmer.

There was a very popular polish called A Lion With A Thorn in its Paw released by BKL years ago and they’ve been making polishes with the same finish ever since. They’re very loved and some of my favorite from the brand!
