Great tutoriel Thank’s , is there a way to turn front ABS off like on BMW GS or is it only rear abs that you can turn off ?

Great advice on installing the rear bracket. Nice work Sticks!

Very well done video showing all the details of these. Thanks! I've been wanting to get these for a few year but keep procrastinating. These are a much better size for dual sport and ADV bikes than another brand I saw.

Tried to hit that wooden feature right at the end. Turns out doing so the first time you go mountain biking isn’t the best idea…
@ProDigit803 ай бұрын
Question is why do you remove it? I presume it's the choke plate? Without it, your choke wont work. I've done tests, and so long the carburetor is the right size, removing the plate does not increase performance at all. It might only improve top speed on indersized carburetors.
@carlosd_07462 ай бұрын
this is not carburated, is fuel injected

Just a heads up, the screws used on all Japanese bikes are not Phillips head, they are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard). I see you mention JIS in the description, but the driver you used that worked for you was not a JIS driver. A phillips driver like that can be hit & miss. Going forward it's much safer to use proper JIS drivers. Vessel JIS drivers are popular. For tight spots like that you can also get driver bits for use with a socket wrench.
@SticksTricks3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the insight, I actually tried multiple JIS bits with a socket wrench first, and that did not work. The little cheap screwdriver I showed had a ton of bite and got the mangled screw out. Thanks for the clarification though.

I just rode this last Sunday, it felt way faster than it looks on video lol. I crashed at the berm after the drop at 3:23 because I went left instead of taking the drop and it just puts you head on into the berm.

Very good tutorial in a relaxed style, thanks. I got the bike yesterday and the thing does seem overwhelming at first. The manual is thicker than the bible so not exactly something you relish looking at.

Thnx, really helpful to see, most reviewers totally forget about this part of the bike. I'm picking up mine next week so this is great to already get familiar. Just don't understand why they didn't add hazard lights, I thought that was standard on all bikes and mandatory by now in Europe at least but guess not.

Thanks for the kind words, you will love the bike. There are some dirt roads in the mason NH area that are no longer maintained by the town. Some of them are part of the Flatlander Route. Do a google search and you can find the mapped route.

He did not say that you need to run the bike for half an hour. He said that he had run the bike around town half an hour prior to his oil change to allow the oil to have enough time to cool off to warm in order to prevent burn injury.

Phone, nav, Bluetooth etc??
@scratastic15 ай бұрын
It's possible to connect your phone with the MIA plug-in, but after speaking with the dealer he said nobody has ordered that option so far because it's not really useful. For navigation it only shows arrows and not a map on the screen, so not really worth it to lose other screen info over that, and you need to bother with a extra specific app and bluetooth connection. Much easier to just have a phone or GPS mounted on the extra bar that's made for that exact reason.
