That's great how u breakdown giannis game now that makes him more unstoppable when he making midranges more like that and his free throws too because he already knows they gonna clug the paint up that's why he post up more leads to more triple teams and shooters open and more spins move and dunks on people that why he my favorite player he literally works on his game

Imo he never needed that much of a range type play. Dude can be Like hakeem and time duncan, focus on post play and hit fade aways and occasionally midranges. bucks already have 3 point shooters, he don't need much of a 3 point shot.

The problem with those shots are these iso pull ups are not game changing. The other people on the midrange list are getting these shots within the offense. He’s stagnant and just forced to shoot. He can say it’s “getting to his spot” but you need tough shot making to “get to your spots” when you please. He’s not hitting too many contested ones and def not the ones that count. Most are just forced or wide open. Love Giannis. Wish we could adapt his game to the team needs. He is the best slasher / transition scorer in the league, on team

I agree to you to an extent but Giannis got to keep the defense honest. The midrange may not be a lethal weapon but the midrange prevents defenses from a building a wall and makes the paint less crowded when he does get to the paint

I wish Giannis pick n pop at the midrange, Giannis is strictly a roller when he sets a screen. Most of Giannis midrange shots come off the dribble or on post fades. If Giannis pick n pop more for that elbow C&S jumper, it will draw the defense better with Dame getting more open looks and Giannis will have more open looks & doesn’t have to score in a crowded paint

Bucks just need to get Banchero, so Giannis can play center and then Dame will have two options for a screen with two offensive beasts as PF and C. Brook Lopez needs to bounce Offer Portis and Brook to Magic for Banchero and a scrub or 2nd round pick

Honestly Taurean at his best is a middling bench player. And honestly his stats have only gotten worse, he was a liability every start for the lakers. His advanced stats like bpm on O and D, VORP too. When leveling out his scoring theres a wide variance, his average ppg vs time on the court has him more frequently being under than over. Which for a guy that struggles to maintain over 10 ppg is wild. For his production level, he's way over played.

He is overplayed, and it's the reason why those numbers you brought up didn't work in his favor during his time in LA. However, with the Bucks, he wasn't brought in to be a starter...it just so happens that with Khris Middleton out of the lineup at the moment, so he's been asked to step up. But, when Khris returns TP is gonna be the one to go back to the bench.

None of that makes any sense. He will even be better when Middleton returns . . . if he returns. Stop whining just to whine. Definitely a tough result. There’s clearly a lot of things that can be touched up on defensively. But it’s only one game and I don’t see the Bulls shooting nearly 60% from deep again.

I don’t disagree…still a lot of things we need to clean up defensively. But the good news is we’re only two games in…so everyone is pretty far from being a true contender outside of the Bostons and OKCs of the world.
