Terry stots was always a great offensive coach. His issue with Portland was he always had top 5 offenses and bottom 5 defenses. I think having him as an offensive coordinator was perfect
@tonysobon46694 ай бұрын
Just want to point out a few things , Beasley was never coming back , they knew signing him , it a one year deal because he wanted to get payed the next . Also the only reason they were like 33-10 or whatever was because they were just playing off talent having to fall back on couch Bud's defense on their own , Giannis was Giannis and Dame closed out a few wins and had some nice games , like said the fallout with Terry was a huge red flag and yeah , when you saw Giannis drawing up plays on the sideline it was clear Griffin lost control of this team. Otherwise I think this is by far this best outcome since they didn't have to trade Lopez or Bobby as well. I think Pat can bounce back and play a bit better as well , at least it keeps a good amount of players from the core that won The Finals.

Good video! I still believe to this day that if Khris didn’t get injured during the 2022 playoffs, they would have went back to the Finals and MAY have repeated. They took that Celtics team to 7 games at the time. I also believed they should have ran it back with the same squad they won with in 2021. Trading away Donte (wayyyy better than Pat) because of his injury history was a crime because he developed into a really good solid 2 way player now and not resigning PJ Tucker at the time. Yes it sounds crazy regarding PJ but the Bucks don’t win that 2021 chip without acquiring him midway through that season. People can laugh at his “cardio runs” or lack of offense but his defense, intangibles and presence in the locker room help propel them to finish the job that season. They even had Demarcus for another season and they should have kept him and utilize him.

@Lutongnabahay8083 ай бұрын
@@ronaldwashington1495 Bro they don’t get past KD and the Nets that year without PJ’s effort. I’m just saying, PJ’s value goes beyond just the scoring, the locker room was affected by his presence and it showed during that run. Khris did his thing. Bud didn’t know how to properly use Ibaka, which was confusing because he was like Lopez in a way of spreading the floor with his “respectable shooting” and defense, maybe Ibaka just fell off. Bucks thought they were getting more of PJ Tucker from Jae Crowder but it look like he didn’t get over with what happened in Phoenix. I don’t know just my assumption. The problem with keeping Jrue is that we didn’t have a reliable second scorer, which is what Lillard was supposed to be. We saw how the offense broke down in the playoffs two years in a row. Prince is respectable on the 4 depending on the 4. Regardless, Prince is going to have to guard 4s because that is going to be Milwaukee’s best closing lineup - Dame-Wright-Midd-Prince-Giannis. The whole point of that lineup is being able to switch 2-5 while simultaneously helping to cover whoever is opposite Dame. That’s not how Lopez plays and it’s going to make Lopez unplayable again in the playoffs or the end of games when you need a stop. Giannis wants to play 4. So he will. Until the end of tight regular season games and the playoffs against anyone not named Embiid. In all other situations it’s Prince at the 4 and Giannis at the 5. And it’s gonna be fantastic.

No matter how good you want to present the trades truth doesn’t change. One of your stars clearly doesn’t wants to be in milwakee, Looez is old and you don’t have another center in the team. Brooke can’t play 48 minutes. All the players they brought this season they are at best a good 5-10 minutes bench players in any other team that compete for the title. The truth is much simpler we sent away Mike as a coach because he didn’t win another chip and I want to remind you that the last 3 season he didn’t have Middleton then next season Giannis and again Giannis due to injuries in the playoffs. But somehow management thought it was Mikes fault. Then you sent the best defender at the time away to get Lillard. So you sent away Jrue who clearly can save any team 10-15 points per game defensively and was scoring 15 points per game and could run the 1st and 2nd unit in offense. The management is just extremely bad in Milwaukee I really hoped Giannis wouldn’t resign. We are just killing his career at this point. We can’t win a chip again. Team need to be rebuilt and players like Bobby and Giannis should go to other teams to get what they deserve.

Milwaukee problem is we didn't address our main issue. Playmaking and a young athletic big to run with Giannis. Jon Horst did nothing but go around Milwaukee main issues. We struggle with Brook being too slow and stiff vs these young teams or small ball lineups
@tonytone13954 ай бұрын
We are fine you can put Giannis at 5 for death lineup
@antleranalysis4 ай бұрын
I partly agree, partly disagree. I don’t think Playmaking will be an issue with the floor spacing we’ll have. When it comes to getting Dame to fit into our system a lot of it ultimately comes down to Giannis. Giannis wasn’t really a great screen setter for Dame this past season and didn’t really understand the concept of pick and roll as well as Brook or Bobby did, hence why Dame’s two man game with those two was better. So if Giannis and Dame can find that two-man game the rest of the offense will fall in line. As for Brook, it would’ve been nice to replace him given he’s older now and he’s not the player he used to be but we had no financial flexibility and I’m not sure we were being offered anything better to replace him in a trade. And I’m of the mindset that we may not even need another big next to Giannis, if we got a 3 and D 4 like a PJ Washington archetype I think Giannis could honestly play the 5 given his defensive versatility…spacing would be better for him and Dame too with only one big on the floor. I think you’ve gotta be happy with what we picked up given the limited flexibility we had to improve…just my thoughts though, let me know what you think.
