Brings me right back to my childhood... miss the 80s so much.

Disney in the 80s had so many hits and misses, but this was a hidden gem of a hit and Alan Silvestri was a huge must have back then. Also bless the creative team on visual effects, true craftsmanship😃.

The intro to this movie is spectacular. You think it is a flying saucer, but it is actually a frizbe. But it is perfect, perfect foreshadowing of the rest of the film. Only from Disney!!

Reminds of my first night-time drive on US 27 between Tallahassee and I-75 in Florida. That was back in July 1999. I drove it without a driver's license... and I was from out of state. LoL! I still remember all those speed traps. Florida State Police didn't mess around with their speed limits. Thankfully, I was wise enough to keep it at 55 MPH.

Flight of the navigator what is the best movie ever made even the soundtrack was so cool I grew up watching this movie back in the 80s. Still a classic movie.

I remember, as a boy, putting my VHS copy of this film on, holding my cassete recorder to the speaker, and taping it to my mix tape of other great 80s film tunes recorded the same way. I thought it was one of the most radical thumping beats ever.
