I also worked as a Chair of Examiners for Post 16 Chemistry.

why doesn't zinc reduced chromium(III) to chromium metal? Isn't the Ecell value positive too? Why is the reduction of chromium(III) to chromium(II) by zinc favoured instead?

I find it difficult to understand that the 4 connected groups not just move around and reshuffle all the time. If they were this flexible then both mirrored versions would be the same.
