when bev is training dot she should leave more slack in the leash. do not put pressure on the leash but dottie is duing wonderful for her age!

I had a sweet golden retriever nephew once that LOVED biting on those plastic bottles. One time I saved a bunch in a big paper bag and dumped them all out in front of him on his birthday.....he went crazy, not knowing which one he wanted...very funny! Enjoy Little Dot...❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Good luck with your new little dog. An eight week ol puppy is a little early , although legal, to leave its Mother. Some breeders wait wait until the puppy is 12 weeks old. During this developmental stage, the brain is rabidly developing, and the dog is impressionable and ideal for training.. Waiting until a puppy is at least 12 weeks old enables puppies to learn from their litter mates and socialize. Much happiness with Dottie. Would you consider resear thing for a new Vet?

Lovely videos. I just found dotty today. And watched all the videos. She made me laugh so much. I have a 4 and a half month old toy poodle, exactly like dotty. She looks and acts so much like her. I have been trainning her the same way. Only thing is I cud not crate train her. Not her fault, rather mine. She sleeps with me on my bed. I am first time mum.. and going thru the exact same issues like urs with my girl, Buchi.the only difference is buchi doesnt want to watch tv at all. She is a bundle of joy and my princess. Thanks so much, and actually you don’t have to be “up with the professionals “ because seeing a puppy in real daily lives is just as useful as the big channels, and perhaps somewhat better.

Zoomies are good get rid of energy. And biting is natural for puppies as well. It’s controlling the pressure they have to learn.

We have had dogs all our lives puppies, older dogs but now at my age mid 60s I couldn't cope with an active little puppy, I've not the energy plus some more than other take alot of patience concerning training. I'll adopt in future an old one like me. 😂 my 13yr old dog is called Dottie aswell. Your little Dottie is gorgeous.

Hi Rob! Thank you for the latest Dotty video! We love watching your "puppyhood" journey as we are embarking on one ourselves at the moment with 3 month Cavapoo Ted - so as you can imagine all your tips are coming in very useful - especially the Dog Videos off KZbin! Please could you give us any tips regarding the terrible nipping, lunging, manic zoomies?! Ted has just began this recently and turns from a sweetie pie into a demented demon at 6pm! Any nuggets of help would be so appreciated! You are doing marvelously - Bev is a star, Dotty's walking on the lead is so impressive for such a young pup- you are an inspiration! Dotty is an absolute delight and Ted sends her his very best! X

Dot is adorable. I have a Cavoodle...very similar to dot. The nipping is a teething response. The first year is hard work,but they tend to settle a bit after. Zoomies are normal for doggies.

Puppies are ‘ hard work’ but worth it. She’s GORGEOUS 😍

Put thumb on puppy tongue press down firmly for a second and same time say NO BITE. worked for us maybe 3 times and never nipped again

A responsible pet parent will crate train their puppy. Little Dot is fine and happy in her crate. What would happen if there was a fire while they were out? Firemen would be able to locate her and get her out. They can get into so much mischief while they are alone! Being in a crate sure does keep them safe.

I have never found one good reason to crate train a dog or cat. My animals do not spend their time in jail. I can tell you are otherwise being kind to her.
