Melodic death metal in its purest form! I, being big fan of In Flames, discovered Soilwork back when they did the same video with In flames 16y ago. So good to hear new music from you guys, such a good reminder why I love this subgenre of metal the most!

This band did not get the attention it should have. I’ve only really known one song by them for YEARS and now in 2024 I am listening to this and it’s just so refreshing. It’s on my top ten of best songs I’ve heard in 2024 which was barely anything 😂. Still!

Honestly this has a ton of possibility but for me just misses. The NFO influences are just wayyyy too prominent. I've been on board since NBC and think The Living Infinite was the best, most well rounded and complete songwriting (grooves, hooks, heaviness, TONE, etc.). Too much yacht rock lately - not enough Gothenburg tinges, for me.

I really don't understand everyone saying a basically metalcore band at this point sounds like a 70s revival act. Because Speed sings? Or Bastion's so slow drumming? There's a brand new NFO to compare the lack of comparison in everything but the vocal. There's also a new Disarmonia if this really isn't you thing.
