Walt Disney was ahead of his time I am glad he never sold the rights to Micky Mouse as he build an empire with his fist idea. He has made more children and adults laugh than anyone on this planet. Rest in peace Mr. Disney

If I recall correctly, it was this event that caused Disney to rescind their ban on men with long hair. If true, it's a minor victory scored by the Yippies, so not a complete waste.

Yippie was a term invented by Abby Hoffman and Krasner. The hippies there didn't give a damn about these east coast posers. The only 'followers' these guys had were in their own imaginations. Organizations and leaders were an anathema to hippies. Your telling of this story reflects the truism that history is written by the victors.

They say truth hurts, but often truths delight and pay actual respect also,,as in case of vintage classic Disney content short or long both, for kids there are extremely good amusing science to other subjects knowledge being given through Donald Duck, I mean I watch so much content from all content entertainment companies sure they have good content can be termed classics, but the effort vintage Disney put in for children or grown ups is genuine,excellent with such wicked sense of humor, humor which eases life’s stresses even if momentarily ,entertaining very funnneeee, amusing,and such a repeat longevity value along with other life values attached like ‘ wise Hen’all the best to them for maintaining their standards for so long.

I was a painter at Disney and I painted much of the organic handrails, the light poles and foot lights. Oh, btw, once you get into the "lab" section and beyond, there are lots of real rats. They eat the food dropped by guests that is unable to be cleaned up. I worked midnights inside the ride. They turn all the ambient recordings off and all you can hear is the rats. Chilling.

I’m going to WDW for the first time a week from today and I’m currently healing a small fracture in my shoulder that didn’t require any surgery. Can anyone tell me if there is a test vehicle I can try out to see if I can grip the handlebars ok? It’d also be great to know how bumpy the movement of the simulator is so I can gauge whether I might be able to ride this or not. Thanks!
@FindTheMouse8 ай бұрын
Yes out front. It is bumpy and sways a bunch with some sudden stops. Not hard bumps and stops though. You are leaning forward which may require you to hold on the entire time.

Do the CEO"s of Disney land have the same passion as Disney, or just seeing a cash cow, finding every single way of bleeding customers dry. Not caring about Disneyland just making as much money for themselves while they are there, getting million of dollars handshake walk away and not caring the disaster they made and employees they screwed over. They do not honor the one mans dream, because even his only brother Roy believed that this would work, but it did.

I was there. Seven years old. Just as we’re coming out of the It’s a Small World ride, an announcer comes on the PA system and says “Disneyland is now closed.” That was at night. No fireworks. What I didn’t realize is that they had been there all day. I just remember leaving at night and seeing a bunch of cops with helmets in the parking lot.

okay maybe I know the answer, you just go through vr not an actual track?
@FindTheMouse10 ай бұрын
You are correct about it not being an actually track, but it is not VR. You wear 3D glasses and it’s like a motion simulator. Instead of a traditional seat, you straddle this seat that sits kind of like a motorcycle. The entire row of “motorcycles” tilt, rock, and move upwards and downwards.
