@MoverandShaker
@MoverandShaker 14 күн бұрын
@debrathornley2974 You can take the strap off of Either of the front seats and you can also take the strap off of one of the back seats' headrest and just simply pull out a white tube that holds it down in the seat and just scrunch it over for someone to get in on the other side. We don't know of any other way than this

Actually, no, that is not true. There are hoses and adapters that can fit those and connect to vacuums however if you have an outboard Skimmer, then you use the vacuum attachments.Directly from the skimmer From the outside. We also have a robotic vacuum that is chargeable. It runs forever. It was one of the best investments we ever made Because it will take care of the bottom, and when we get in, we take care of the top with a net and it's all good.

I’ve tried vacuuming with mine but can’t seem to keep the air out of the pump. Maybe the pump isn’t strong enough to hold my vacuum plate in the skimmer? Any tips on this would be welcome. Before anyone asks, yes, I ensure all air is out of my hose/vacuum head prior to vacuuming. TIA

Thanks for these videos. They’re so helpful for me. In regards to the pump itself, do you empty the sand out of it or do any other process of trying to remove all water from within the big basin? I imagine it’s extremely heavy with a ton of wet sand in there…and then I also wonder about storing it with wet sand inside. Thoughts?
@MoverandShaker
@MoverandShaker 19 күн бұрын
I usually leave the sand in the pump and I open the bottom drain and let it drain completely and leave it as such.And then just cover the top hole of the pump with saran wrap or foil Just enough to keep the bugs in the air out. We use a dolly to cart it to the shed.

It does move a little slow. It does a good job vacuuming. However, an outboard skimmer is highly recommended as it works so much faster and does a better job overall. It works fine on the wrinkles, we honestly eventually switched to this more expensive amzn.to/3zIc6Z5 and model of vacuum Because it's easier to set up, considering all you have to do is charge it and drop it in. I think we have had it in our pool over a hundred times it's still doing great.

@MoverandShaker

@jasondunbar3667 Absolutely not! Before you're chlorinator is ever boosting for the first time. You have to make sure your pool is balanced.It can take up to a week. If you live near a pool star, take some water up to them and let them tell you what you need to bring it up to par. It will be like a recipe. Follow that recipe. Whether it takes 2 days or 4 days before you ever start to boost. Once you get through your boost cycle, you can then be. Operating full time with your chlorinator and not really have to worry about much at all.

My friend, i have that setup with a smaller sand filter. Im getting low flow readings on the salt system. What should i do?
@MoverandShaker
@MoverandShaker 2 ай бұрын
Low flow problems occur when the water flow through the chlorinator is less than the minimum flow rate required for proper operation. This can be caused by a variety of factors such as a closed valve, a dying pump, clogged filters, or a blocked pipe. Did you ever make sure that the chlorinator did not require a certain specific size sand pump Gph wise. If the problem wasn't there before or it's just started for the first time on start up then I would definitely think your pump may not be strong enough.
