It would be great if you could make a video regarding the chemicals you use and the regular daily / weekly maintenance you do. Your pool looks amazing!!

We have a saltwater pool. It's just like the ocean. When you first start a new pool or open the pool, you test your water. The easy method besides test strips is a pool store. Bring a sample up to them they will tell you what you need to get your water balanced. They give you a recipe of what to add and how much in a very specific order. Once balanced. If you want a saltwater only pool... Add recommended salt per saltwater manual and follow start up instructions for the saltwater chlorinator. If you want a chemical pool do nothing (your trip to the pool store should have taken care of that ) for maintenance vacuum from your outboard skimmer once a week, use your micro net with pole for any floating objects, backwash pump to clean your pump sand clear. Just some tips. We also have a robotic vac that works 45 min. When we are in the house.

You're welcome and thank you! we did the same thing when we were new to the pool world and whenever we're thinking of purchasing new items like the saltwater system.

You can see you really care about your pool, it will last a long time. I was in the pool industry for about 20 years and you wouldn't believe how often we would build a 20k dollar pool and you go back a few months later and it looks horrible. Enjoy the pool!

Oh thank you so much! We definetly take pride and love our pool. We may move in a couple of years but someone will be able to enjoy it. The next one we get will be the rectangular sized pool, I just don't care for the exterior rails, but at least you can swim laps.

Hi! I have a saltwater pool but it keeps getting green. And I’m still having to shock at least every week and it goes clear again
@MoverandShaker3 жыл бұрын
The only thing I can think of is it's either not being cleaned on the bottom enough or it's raining a lot have you seen our green pool scare video we have one in our playlist Maybe watching that would help. It's only happened to us once.

@@MoverandShaker it had actually been raining a lot lately!

I like using my rechargeable pool vacuum... I hate dragging the hose around. First thing we do is drop in out rechargeable robot bottom cleaner and turn on filter... after 2 hours.. we put on cover.. If pool is not in use.. solar cover is always on ! I used to use all the chemicals weekly according to tested water by store... now I just use cotton balls instead of sand which eliminates any cloudiness and dollar store bleach and baking soda.. my pool for 4 months of crystal clear 100$ of the time, no backwashing was a whole $40.... Only low level is stabilizer but that is not important as chlorine level is always spot on ! Pool Chems are a scam !

Very interesting! We have never heard of your methods before! Lucky for us because we have a salt water system now , we also have basically carefree water. We are loving it and would never go back to chemicals.

It was purchased off of eBay but Amazon had them too. I purchased mine in the winter when the prices were really low I got mine for 59 I think they're 89 usually in the summer but I wouldn't doubt if they're above that price now due to the demand of all pool supplies

Mover and Shaker is it for intex? We just got ours up about 2 weeks ago………… and your umbrella holder? Is that a pole pounded into the dirt? We live where it gets windy…… great idea!
@MoverandShaker4 жыл бұрын
Yes it is Intex. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZu2qmOHndapidU The umbrellas and the poles are described in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnScf4qIrs-XY68 The polls are PVC pipe spray painted as you will see in the video and they're not pounded into the ground they're level on the concrete footer.
