Nicely done project. I really like the drawer with the food and water bowls. I wonder how often it is 'in' versus 'out'. If you had to do it again, would you put the bowls in the drawer?
@daigleswoodshop51598 ай бұрын
Thank you! She stays outside during the day so the bowls are pushed in. The only time they come out is at night, so they are rarely in the way. If I had to do it again I would absolutely put the bowls in the drawer. It's such a space saver!

Very efficient and professional operation. I love the log moving device, did you weld it yourself? and the straps keep both ends off the ground - smart !! I noticed some log movers at 5K each , very expensive. So I bought a portable mill with trailer. I have a small compact tractor with lift capacity of only 1,000 lbs, so it can't even lift larger logs. I wish I had known this future requirement when I was looking for a small tractor. 1,500 to 2,000 lb capacity would have been my min requirement which translates into approx $15K to 20K more in tractor costs.
@daigleswoodshop515910 ай бұрын
I did weld it myself, I think the total cost of materials was about $500 winch and tires included. It's pretty amazing what my small 4 wheeler can move with that thing!

I like the way you work…nice job ….I found they work much better with coarse saw dust (like off a resaw bandsaw) but just a pinch; not too much; we dont want to completely block the screen. Also with ice in the glass It creates a natural downdraft. This was my experience 🙏

for pocket holes, some quick shop-made plywood clamping squares work wonders. I spent a couple hours making 8 of them and now I don't know how I did things without them. I'm just a hobbyist, so anything to help me is a good thing. I made mine based on these: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3jSfnyPaJdohK8 Hope it's helpful.
