I noticed my sisterlocks are breaking off at the root...maybe from thinning sisterlocks. Its not alot but I am still concerned. Please tell me what I can do to combat this

@@Brumilda2136284 lol, well I just cut mine off a few months ago! I had them for just around 2 years but was never able to love them because they weren't what I wanted. I'm not sure if too much was left out on the ends or what but I don't have curly or even very coily hair. It's more...puff🤗 So my ends just were puffy and larger than the rest of the loc. It was always MUCH more work to get them to look good and honestly I got them so I could go less work. I'd had trouble finding a great consultant but the final straw was when I ended up having to do them myself and in feeling it more closely, then taking pictures I found quite a few that were hanging on for dear life because they were so thin and the lady who was retightening my hair never said a word! I'm overall quite disappointed in the sisterlocks brand and how much I was failed...they should definitely update their website etc. I mean I'm not even in the salon and I still take classes every year to keep up to date and maintain my cosmetology license 🤷🏾‍♀️ You have to care about people first. YIKES, that was long. Should have just told you to peek at my videos🤣

Your journey sounds exactly like my first one and at the time the consultant that reti'd my hair also didnt say a word until I got to the sisterlocs training and saw how fat and fluffy my loccs were compared to the other ladies'! It was cery dissapointing and had to cut it all after 3 years of growing it naturally and a year if being loced my heart was broken. But cutting it and starting again was the best thing i couldve done. Im so hapoy with them now. I'm sure that your 2nd journey will be so great. I'll have a look at your videos in a sec ;)

Hey 👋🏾 Brumilda! I have been waiting on this, happy locaversary! I start my sisterloc journey the day after Thanksgiving! Ok so questions I would like to know Do you experience slippage around the front or nape area? Do you retie your hair yourself?

Hey Shawntae. Thanks for sticking with me x Massive congrats on decided to get them. You'll love it! I do get slipage around the edges and nape yes but not ridiculously so. I do reti the front and back locs myself because of the slippage and i want to minimise breakage but i dont do my entire head myself I have done it once and My arms die🙈😂 let me know how you get on with your locs x

You have to be content with what you have its beautiful and really natural it's not natural to add some one else's hair to yours sometimes they use dead people hair ( yuk) Jesus will be here soon,,😚

Loved your video you are beautiful I didn’t think you had on makeup very natural I love you SL I am 4 days shy of 4 wks, I feel like this is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, I watched your video because of the title. I was wondering how someone so beautiful would want to ruin such gorgeous locks with extensions, you nearly gave me a heart attack 😱 ❤️your hair hang in there .
