I wish I would have thought about running a dual cooling tube before I sealed it all up. Still considering but I have heard the scuppers when the ski is flipped over can cause the ski to sink faster. Even still I might keep it with dual cooling and a bilge system

Good DIY vid. I did the passenger side yesterday. The upper one was a real b17ch for me to get that top screw b'c it was overtightened - the easiest most visible screw. The lower one was ok once brought out a foot ottoman from the living room out to the car so I could lie down face up and get to it from underneath. Thank god most of the screws weren't too tight. Today I need to do the Driver side one. Hopefully it's easier than the 2 on passenger side. I had to disconnect the battery to really get them to reset. Unplugging the HVAC fuse (which is another b17ch to get to) didn't work for me. I hate GM for putting all this stuff in such a difficult to reach place - including the damn fuse box which is supposed to be accessible. I got a 3 pack on Amazon for $40.

The drivers side isn’t that bad. The worst is if your right handed it makes the screw goofy to try and grab some that hand doesn’t have a good angle to reach

I am SERIOUSLY considering making this my next Helmet. Any issues with the sizing or fitment such as sizes running a bit big or small?
@ModdingAddictionАй бұрын
The sizing was slightly on the bigger side but the cushioning around the bottom of the head is pretty tight for my head. I got the medium and am happy with it. The small would have been way too tight and I think the large would be loose on me. It’s been an amazing helmet I don’t have much bad to say about it. The battery lasts noticeably longer than my Sena

Thanks for posting this, brother. Super easy fix. To anyone else needing this bastard pump replaced and prefers not to wait around at the dealer, order the OEM part (it's literally plug and play). White hose tip to white connection, black hope tip to black connection. Oh, and the electrical plug snap to remove the electrical connection is located at the very to of the plug. It's like a little locking lever that makes a "pop" or "click" sound when you remove and reattach. Cheers folks.
@ModdingAddictionАй бұрын
Awsome I’m glad that worked out for you. How many miles did it have on it before it went out?
@garrickr5084Ай бұрын
@@ModdingAddiction 22,526 miles. I have a 2022 Yukon Denali (6.2L). Seems like this pump could easily be a future recall in the making. I've also been having some issues with what appears to be my left CV joint (ticking sound when turning), and when I looked online about it, a lot of owners are having similar issues for certain GMC Yukon's made between 2021 & 2022. Worth mentioning in case you're ever faced with the same problem. Cheers!

It will just be on cold. The switch is sending signal to a broken part. Now assuming there is no electrical issues nothing will happen. If there is electrical issues it might melt itself trying to send power to nothing

I just change the pump of my 2006 tt roadster but I have a question, the cables that connect to the poles of the pump, everything is placed inside the chamber of fuel, what if there is a spark somehow, for example it moves a little bit in a road bump and a spark is generated, won't that ignite the fuel and then caboom?
@ModdingAddiction2 ай бұрын
Liquid fuel itself is very hard to ignite. It’s the vapors that are highly flammable. Manufacturers make sure to keep all of the cables tight and one length so there is no splicing. All cars have wiring running in the fuel tank for the fuel pump and the fuel level switch. Most cars have a plastic fuel cell so there is no chance of arking. But awesome question and way to think about what you are doing

hi cool review. I was wondering how does the music system on the cardo for this helmet work. Can it play specific songs or any song you ask or you have to have music saved for it? and is there any other music related feautures? Thanks in advance : )
@ModdingAddiction2 ай бұрын
It plays through Bluetooth so anything that’s on your phone you can play. It’s like wireless headphones. The Sena has a feature that you can listen to the radio which is cool but in reality it isn’t useful. The quality is bad and hard to change channels. Long story short I put my music on either pandora or my Apple Music
@markevans55962 ай бұрын
Thanks bud, good vid. Upcoming job on my car so that's very useful. You didn't say who made this kit, I'm assuming there was a reason for that so i won't bother mentioning who's kit i have on order. The thicker brown wire you mentioned, already replaced or partially i think on yours, was split right down under the battery tray on mine, so I'm having to replace that too then repack it all, bit of a pain. It is 24 year old wire though so not surprising. Thanks again 👌
@ModdingAddiction2 ай бұрын
There is a link in the description that has the kit. You got this. The hardest part was figuring out what wire went where. Hopefully I was easy to follow throughout the video. Wiring gets weird either people get it and the video is too long or they don’t and the video is too short. It’s a hard middle ground but I think I got you covered. If not keep commenting and I will try to answer all I can

so yes, those plastic nuts are serviceable and they even have some 3-D printed ones on eBay. I bought some 3-D printed ones to compare with the OEM ones that I also purchased alongside. I'm thinking about doing this but at the same time I'm scared that corrosion could cause a lot more problems down the road while the plastic doesn't get corroded, either way it's a good alternative to all this plastic shit In these sparks
@ModdingAddiction2 ай бұрын
I saw that there was alternatives and thought about replacing but I haven’t seen anybody come up with anything new. I like to find alternatives so there is new or better ways to do something. That is a good point with the corrosion but with taking the hull off at least yearly I just put some anti seize on then and hope for the best

You can just twist the straps a few times and will shorten them and still keep the right tension

I tried that and didn’t like the fit and finish. The twist makes it perfect no hard edges to rub on a twist and it holds the box down very snug
