How do you ensure everything is in the bag ? Do you check the bag before taking ?
@ThisMumAtHome25 күн бұрын
You can’t! You can’t open the bags, otherwise you would get reported for tampering !!!!! so you just have to trust that the order is in there and if it’s not then they have to just put through for a refund. The unfortunate thing is that we usually get blamed for missing items because we didn’t check all they think we took it but we’re not allowed to open the bag so there’s nothing we can do about it.!!!!

A tip i got from my mum for keeping your iceberg lettuce fresh....or any veg for that matter (broccoli/cauli/cucumber/zucchini....etc....) is to wrap it in paper towel and keep it in the plastic produce bag u buy them in.... My lettuce lasts me 3 weeks easy! I might lose the very outer leaf....but it keeps it fresh and crunchy 🎉 Every time i use some i wrap it in fresh paper towel if its damp and it goes back in the fridge

Very interesting, better money than what I thought you would earn with Uber! You would have to let your car insurance company know I guess?

May I ask with your car do you need to tell your insurance company? What about a headlamp.
@ThisMumAtHomeАй бұрын
Yes you just them you use it to do deliveries for work and your insurance is slightly higher depending on your individual insurance company :)

@yourforevergrasshopperАй бұрын
You may not know the answer to this but why is KFC always $8.95 for delivery? Also, if you pay extra for the ‘Direct to You,’ do you get paid more?
@ThisMumAtHomeАй бұрын
What you as a customer pay for delivery has nothing to do with what I get paid to deliver 🙂 prime example is last night I had a pizza delivery come through to me for $36 because the restaurant was closing. Ubers system knows that and so Uber offered me that $$$ to do the job. The customer has not paid that though ! The delivery price you see for each individual business when you do an order is set by the business itself they can charge whatever they want. I guess it probably has something to do with whatever they’re being charged from Uber though. Just as is their prices, usually the prices through Uber the business set higher than what it would be if you went into the store/restaurant yourself.
@ThisMumAtHomeАй бұрын
Oh and my guess is KFC just choose to charge that! It’s them making the decision. Perhaps it’s to get people to actually order off their own app instead or go to the store themselves so they don’t have to pay Uber there percentage.? I really don’t know !
@yourforevergrasshopperАй бұрын
Oh wow, I never realised or thought of that! I always thought it would be distance from your home but then I thought it can’t be given one or two places are literally across from each other or the same business owner but two locations (not far at all from each other, maybe 250m) and it differs. Fascinating stuff!
@yourforevergrasshopperАй бұрын
Most probably! I was always curious as it never changes but other outlets at different times do so it’s been quite interesting! Stay safe on the roads and hope Johnny’s car was able to be saved!

You can freeze flour if you don’t use it fast enough. Just put whatever’s open in a ziplock bag and in the freezer. it’s especially good in the summertime when it’s super hot out
