we used to go out there with a home made 18 ft boat and and catch 18 to20 thch fish and have the family shack.and use hand lines.

Brought back many good memories from 30+ years ago. Old Fowlers has changed a lot...and they put railing on the jetty. We walked those sandhills across to Scotts and then walked to the end of that point...got lost. Mexican provided the salmon on the next club trip...and they were big. We took a bus on both occasions. These gummies were caught about 20kms past the islands, but was on a mate's boat, so I don't have the mark myself. Anywhere you can catch snapper, you might catch a gummy or two. You'll just have to wade through the snapper! 😁
