AAA Offshore Fishing Competition - Port Victoria, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia - 11/9/2022

Robbo and I compete in our first Australian Anglers Association fishing event since before the pandemic. We found a big school of Australian salmon of around 1kg, good numbers of King George whiting, but struggled to find snook (short-finned pike), which was unusual for this time of year. Three decent snook late in the day was enough to boost my total bag weight to 15.32kg, which was enough to secure first place for the event - my first AAA win. Robbo weighed in a bag over 12.5kg, dropped a 80cm+ snook (dodgy net & dodgy netter..) and also snapped a rod, so it was mixed bags around alright.. Enjoy and thanks for watching!! :)
