Thank you so much for putting this movie together and let us all be part of your journey. I learned, that ultra running and through hiking have a lot in common: Feeling everything!

What an inspiring documentary, the beauty of the of this experience, my love of nature, it’s like hiking with you all the long the trail, of course you are the one who is enjoyed it the most, and suffered the most haha 😂❤. I can’t describe my feeling and the joy inside my heart, because for me, it’s not just a video behind the screen, I lived in it, thank you so much for this beautiful documentary 🥹🫴🏻❤️.

This was excellent! I can't even guess at all the extra time and effort you took for filming, all while hiking 2600 hard miles. Thank you.

I understand too that the fires seem to be getting worse, from your experience does it still seem doable to hike every step (even using alternative routes) of the pct? It looks like you hiked this relatively recently?
@nathanoutside25 күн бұрын
@@carsonacosta3170 They are. I was very lucky my year that fires had little impact except for the final 30 miles. But the lowest risk way to do it is start late March / early April to get through the Sierra as soon as possible and finish the trail in August.
@carsonacosta317018 күн бұрын
Knowing that, would you still hike the pct or would you opt for the AT which has no fires almost or the cdt since it has lots of alternates? I’m deciding which one I want to do, I would like to do the pct ideally.
@nathanoutside18 күн бұрын
@ The AT is pretty boring and the CDT has little infrastructure and social culture (and still lots of fires). The PCT really is unbeatable and fires are not a reason not to do it.
@carsonacosta317025 күн бұрын
That was incredibly powerful. God bless you. I’m planning on doing a thru hike in 2026 and was really wanting to do the PCT, but the thought of not being able to hike every step because of the fires sounded crushing. You showed what it’s really about, and highlighted that there are indeed alternatives! Thank you. Did you summit Mt. Whitney by chance?

This was hands down the best video about the PCT I have ever seen. Imagine how many people you must've have inspired to take on this journey. Great job!

Amazing!!! This is by far the best PCT documentary we've ever seen! The videography, the music, especially your personal narrative of your trials and triumphs. So well done on so many levels. We are now planning our 2025 PCT thru hike and your incredible piece of work has been a great inspiration!! Thank you so much for sharing!❤️

Thanks for this incredible trail video! I hiked the PCT this year and I can really feel you in almost every single moment. Funfact: my very last day on the PCT was a day hike starting at Etna Summit Trailhead to fill in some miles, so literally at the same place where you finished two years earlier 😁 - “Lost&Found”, Class of 2024

This was one of the best documentaries I have seen - the way you describe / narrate everything is really awesome 🤩

Wow! Great documentary. Not only is it great, that you walked all that miles. The documentary itself is perfect: great pictures, great music, your calm voice! Really enjoyed this 1,5 hours. Thanks

Beautiful filming and composition and great narration!! P.S....so happy you didn't fall victim to using "like" about every other word, or incorrect use of pronouns, such as "her" when it should be "she". By this time, I figure you've got a great job somewhere, producing/narrating videos. Your work is head and shoulders above that of others! ...comments from an 81 y.o. gramma
