Why are we running artifact lands as opposed to basics?

btw the order of casting Relic's Roar/Embiggen do matter. If you cast Embiggen first and let it resolve, you won't hit lethal after casting RR. Relic's Roar needs to resolve first before casting Embiggen.

Lovely video, infect is my favourite archetype. If i could just nit-pick a little, infect is more of a combo deck, not a tempo deck. It can be, but against decks with little removal. In a couple of instances you played your creatures without the mana to protect them, while waiting a turn would have changed nothing. Just my 2 cents :)

Arrogant Wurm often came down as a surprise blocker to blow out your opponent. The Stitchwing can’t ever do that, as it enters tapped. It does have evasion though. I’m writing before watching it in action. Arrogant Wurm comes from your hand as a “free discard”. Where the Stitchwing already had to be discarded, be in the grave, then make you discard 2 additional cards. Seems like a Lot. But I’m intrigued!

Hey Pauperganda and chats! Woulda made it this week but was feeling kinda unwell. Stream starts around noon my time, went for a nap around 9.30am, alarm set for about 5-10 minutes before Pauperganda starts, woke up and still felt like crud, so told you guys in the chat and went back to bed. Might not make it this coming weekend either due to other plans. Stuff I woulda said in chats! - The problem with Gond combo on MTGO is the amount of clicking it takes to pull it off. Is there a build that has an anti-Soul Sister available? Like when a creature enters under your control, you ping? Having one of those in the 75 somewhere would make the combo faster because then you only have to make half as many creatures (or less if you have more than one in play). - It's also hilarious that the key creature in the deck - Midnight Guard - survives all the -2/-2 effects/2 damage effects. - The avatar that 1997 was using (second round opponent) looks a bit like Deluxeicoff, doncha think? - Nim Chimpsky's "Cleansing Wildfire... when your throat needs some real good cleaning !!!" sounds like something sold as a throat syrup thing... with a really high alcohol content. (Think Buckley's and its ilk. Can't think of what the category of medication would be called.) - In the early 90s I was going to university, and someone pulled up beside me and offered me a ride home. Got in the car and we got talking. And about halfway through the conversation, he told me what he liked to wear around the house. Hint: the answer was not family-friendly. It's at that point the (sic) I actually stopped magic. Felt that the portal stuff was stupid." Portal wasn't designed for established players but as a simplified version of the game for new players. The cards were also not legal for tournament play unless it was a reprint of something that already existed. It sounds like Vlad had already been playing at that point, so the sets weren't designed with players like him and myself in mind. And they changed certain rules, like blocking was "intercepting", which didn't make any sense to me. But the sets were specifically designed for new players, so having a big white mana symbol on the card rather than "T: Add W to your mana pool" made a lot more sense, especially since people didn't exactly explain what a mana pool was very well when teaching others how to play the game. - The guy in the background of Refurbished Familiar? That's probably the wizard whose familiar it is.

I love the card campfire in general but this deck definitely showcases how useful it can truly be.

It's a p cool deck! I'm gonna build it to play with my friends at home. Im gonna make a few changes: get rid of Birchlore Rangers, Jaspera Sentinel, Distant Melody. And put in elvish vanguard, you meet at tavern and potentially Nettle Sentinel and Dwynen's Elite. Just keep it pure green:)

About Bakersbane Duo: the card is a 3/3 potential most times with life gain and still being a creature to be catch with winding/lead, but, in my humble opinion: there is much more and better creatures in green.
