yep, make sure the goal is far enough and just kick back and search for a new job. If they just hit you with a PIP there is no reason to put any effort. Got a PIP in my previous job, because I rejected their demand to cover for my boss responsibilities, because I've been in the the company far longer than him and before he came I was awaiting to be promoted to his position.

I don't know where you all work either... In my working environment, all the boomers have retired in the last 1-2 years. What you all pompously refer to as "boomers" is in most cases Generation X and Y. The main thing is to throw around terms but not understand what they mean. Just to clarify, the baby boomer generation was born between 1955 and 1964, so the youngest of them are at least in their 60s. Sorry for my bad english. Iam german and dont give a sh*t.

So when the time comes all have been approved with months advance. ... when the whole month is approved off and it is July 30th is when you say that is a great policy.
