Regular synthetic oil changes (5k intervals) add Petron plus formula 7 oil conditioner and add the fuel system treatment by petron. I’ve had success with that even after the code set.

Good God there's so much wrong with this video. I couldn't watch to the end. Why cut the wires? Just unscrew the wire nut. You take out the bulbs, you take out the ballast. There's nothing left. You're essentially making a brand new lamp from scratch.

That isn't the only problem you are going to run into. The valves also get gummed up and won't seat properly over time. Top teir gas will only dely the issue as you are still creating carbon.

I would change the oil at 3000 miles with quality oil and run fuel injector cleaner through your engine often. I do this with my cars that have multiple port injection. When I know I’m going to go on road trip 100 miles or more. I will put two bottles I feel injector cleaner in the tank before fueling. I know that this fuel will be consumed quickly therefore, I feel safe doing this because it’s not going to sit in the fuel lines. When your dealer performs a fuel injector service they run your car on nearly pure fuel injector cleaner. This is a do it yourself preventative solution. Also, changing your spark plugs so that they are fully igniting the fuel or keep the carbon from building up. Short trips, where are your engine doesn’t get to full operating temperature causes carbon buildup. So do you take your car out on a highway and run it at least 75 miles an hour for an hour or so occasionally, we’ll burn these deposits away. Hopefully these tips or keep you from having to change your direct injectors so often.
