So glad I happened across your channel. Have three 'dwarf jades,' (in South Africa 🇿🇦 we call them spekbooms). I'm about to report and start wiring them, as it's spring here. Keep the content coming!

I Just put all my little Portulacaria afra plants in ridiculously large pots, hoping next year I’ll have loads of thick branches to cut off and start growing bonsai trees from 👍🌲

I can’t find landscapers mix in my area but use cactus mix + coconut chunks for my desert roses. Based on your blend Do you think the cactus mix would be suitable replacement for landscapers mix. I also have pumice on hand can that replace the turface as I can’t get that locally either

How do you fertilise your trees and when do you need to?
@dennishopen6467Ай бұрын
Thanks to you I found 3 of those small pots of cuttings at Lowes, I need something small that can sit on my windowsill for 5 plus months during the winter, I spaced them out in a large pot and when the weather warmed I fed them quite often with liquid fertilizer and I’m amazed how big they are now, I am currently backing off the water and fertilizing to toughen them up for coming back inside, thanks for sharing, I would have never known about lilliput, please post a long term video, I would like to know how they are doing and do you still impressed with them

I have a new Dwarf Jade coming in the mail in a couple weeks and I have never had one before. It is coming in a 4 inch pot. So, what do I do when I receive it besides open the box and unpack. What do I need to do with it?

Love the collection. Those pots don’t blow over? I’m in Houston,Tx and was hoping to find a mix that would protect from root rot in the rainy times but not dry out so fast , that I’m watering twice a. Day or even everyday. I think this mix may work. Again great info.

I have grown to really love the way a jade looks after defoliation. It really shows off the know-how a person has when it comes to training and shaping their tree.

Super nice collection of trees sir, the kind that would inspire anyone to build their own. One big question I have is how do you keep squirells and chipmunks from eating your plants? I'm in michigan, and they seem to love succulents here. Is there a trick you us to keep them at bay?
