I do believe this is the true ending despite the sequels but I would prefer Jack having the Pearl back and Barbossa having something better but I love the poetic ending for Jack

I love the fact that Davy completely ignored Bill, who personally killed the Admiral, and just started his "death" speech to James as if he had killed him. and he also stole his sword :( RIP James Norrington aka. Admiral Friendzone

The only good thing to come out the next two films was Will's curse being broken and him and Elizabeth reuniting forever

Let it be known, at the very end, James Norrington did not fear death.

Norrington really did prove to be a good man at his core, and he did genuinely love Elizabeth.

I will always love that Barbossa didn't maroon him at Port Royal, but left him a boat AND his pirate flag to fly over it. While they were rivals and he was stealing the Pearl, Barbossa wanted Jack to know this time it wasn't personal, it was just pirates bein', y'know, pirates, and he wanted Jack to know that that aside he regarded Jack a friend and wasn't willing to take EVERYTHING from Jack.

Jones offered to heal him and be part of his crew, and James stabbed him. Absolute legend. Though to be fair, Jones was very impressed with him. Not only did he offer to revive him but you could tell Norrington made a mark on him by refusing his offer in the way he did.
@vksasdgaming9472Ай бұрын
I think that offer is part of job description. The Dutchman needs a crew. Norrington refused. Fair enough.
