Well Miami were ranked #4 in defensive rating the year. I think at that point in the season they were #2 or #1. The other teams in the linsanity run were mostly outside of the top 10 defensive rating, some were the down the bottom. So yeah, once defensive coverage is adjusted and you come up against a good team, you are going to have a bad night.

When you look at this game, you realize Melo is made for the playoff. when all those DT come. Melo really practice his game around DT and scoring in phone booth space. If Lin and Melo could mesh better. This team had potential to go deep into the playoff. Lin IMO could of learn how to dribble defensively. a guy who is known for that is Kyrie or Billup. Where their hands is always constantly guarding the ball. Basically adding a layer of defense around the body.

This was just a bad game. These were his stats after the loss to Miami: 19 pts 13 assists - Cavs 15 pts 5 assists - Celtics 14 pts 7 assists - Mavs 20 pts 4 assists - Spurs Any other player we’ll fact check but with Lin we watch a KZbin video and say “that was the end of his run”lol it’s not hard to see that he played well most of his career. He wasn’t just good with the Knicks.

Not gonna lie, lots of forced possessions, you can tell he was a rookie, because lots of drives he could’ve swung to Carmelo for an open shot and sometimes getting those assists and just swinging the ball will help your rhythm with scoring, he was just frustrated 😂

I remember kendrick perkins was a big guy who could guard dwight howard. Perk was 270lbs, but the way perk didn’t even look at dwade’s eyes made perk look small
