I'm a late comer to Rory's music. And I'm SHOCKED by this immense talent of a man! Ashamed to not have known him much, much earlier than the 3 years now.

The man breathes music. He gets inside a song and projects it in a way others just can’t regardless of guitar technique or ability. He feels it! So lucky to have seen him live many times since 1974 ! Unforgettable

I remember exactly were I was when I heard he’d passed I was on a balcony in a hotel in Majorca with my guitar and played an Acoustic version of this song in his honour 😔🙏 He really was something else, he had everything as a Musician a poet and one hell of a guitarist and he gave everything when he played.. I saw Taste a good few times in London. 69, 70. Then the Rory band a couple of times.

Mr. Gallagher was like a comet. He came and went. There's never really been anybody quite like him since. Only person i'd put him next to is the celestial universal traveller himself a one Mr Jimi Hendrix.

I’ve had a vhs copy of Irish tour since 1985. I bought it at a flea market along with Iron Maiden’s Live after death video. Those 2 VHS tapes got me through my freshman year in high school
