How are the consumables for availability? I've got the Harbor Freight Titanium 65 amp. I have to buy all the consumables from them since they are an odd ball torch. Also, find a thread protector to put over the air fitting, especially if you do go down to just the nipple without the hose. Bugs like to nest in the regulators I found out.

Never turn the tank all the way upside down. You want to lay it on its side, maybe even tilt it up into the guard, so the liquid propane flows in. If you flip it all the way inverted, all the oil that is mixed into the propane to make it smell will flow on into your little tank. When you have a heavy ratio of oil/propane, it clogs up the orifices on your torches, Coleman stoves, etc. which of course makes it not burn right and it stinks like hell. Nothing says suck like a steak or a hot dog that tastes like rotten garlic. Bon apatite!

Whats the difference between this model and the 1935 model which looks exactly the same?

Too bad they don't use flat free tires on carts like these. The wife has similar cart from Northern Tool that has the tube type tires and every couple months have to pack the air pig from the shop to inflate the tires for her. Been thinking of trying better quality tubes but, don't want to have to try to break down these little tires until I have to. I know they are trying for a price point is probably the reason they use these inflatable tire. Even from Harbor Freight the flat free tires like I used on my torch cart are close to $25 each compared to inflatable tire at $15 each.

im considering buying Premier or StorMor, Im torn-Premier says I dont need 16x16x6 pads at bottom on gray clay in TX 14x40 on about a 3ft slope on cinder blocks they will build on site at $5000 extra. Stor Mor says I need those 16” blocks bc of erosion. my mobile home & my current barn are only on blocks directly on gray clay no foundation & have held up for 24 yrs. do i need those bigger blocks on ground then cinders on top-one side will be about 3 ft hi? also the price difference is $1730 Stor Mor higher but they have about 1’5” higher gable which i like. i read reviews both show prob w service warranty especially leaks. Im torn-Premier was trying to be honest & told me the delivery driver said he would not spend $26,000 bc of hill & erosion. but my buildings are ok, i will have a skirt which holds back dirt & place rocks around perameters to hold back dirt. ive got about 5” of dirt on my skirt now on mobile after 24yrs & house is still ok. 1.do i need 16x16x6 on bottom (32) i think for 40’ (delivery driver said they got to dig a shelf to lay them & erosion is problem) 2. which company should i choose 3. i dont want to build from independent contractor bc i dont trust giving someone w/o a store half the money down(i already dont like giving it to one of these companies) 4. its going to be a she shed 5premier says i dont need tie down, Stormor says i do (premier sales is a guy stormor is a woman-she says she builds tiny homes for a living & has an answer for everything but at a extra cost!) ??????

Mini split with heat strips would do better. The efficiency would only drop to exactly what you’re using now in extreme conditions. But they are better left running to maintain temps than recoup.
@k6outdoors24 күн бұрын
Definitely a good overall option but is arguably much harder of an install for a DIY project and are much more expensive. I know there is some DIY ones out there for $1500 but if you pay $3000-$4000 to have one installed it will take long time to recoup that investment in cost. Technically electric heat is 100% efficient as every watt is turned into heat, however per btu the cost of electric heat is higher because of the cost of electricity, unless you have solar as I do.
