A question for zeiss? Is it normal that in my 6-36 lrp s3 the numbers of the reticle is illegible in low light using recticle illumination? On the 2 is illuminated only central part like a /...for 3 is illuminated only two dots like a : and continuing to 4 in wich only a / is visible again...this occours both in elevation and windage numbers on reticle.... I hope this is wanted by your eingeneers to not illuminate too much the hunter eye....or maybe is it made to force us using turrets for low light hunting applications/ elevation adjustment? Sorry for the question.... All other features are great! Sparkling view and extreme definition also on 36x magn.

Please contact our customer support at [email protected] and send 2 to 3 photos showing exactly at which brightness setting you see or do not see the described numbers in the reticle.

What is the windage limiter ... If i need to dial all the windage on the scope does it go all the way without restriction ? Nightforce had a restriction pin inside of the windage turret cap on the ATACR to prevent people from dialing more than one revolution ... Crazy !

I have it in the 636 version. It's great! Most of the time I only shoot at 13-Power at 1,000 yards, so if you guys are just getting into long range, trust me, you don't even need the 636. I would pick the 425 if you are shooting out to 1,000 yards. The higher magnifications are only good for glassing in my opinion (regardless of manufacturer, because the sight picture shakes too much, and you cannot see the bullet fly as well). 36-Power is great when sighting in because you can see bullet holes without walking there. Or if you want to identify a target at a Mile, then high mag is better, however most days nice summer days mirage will ruin your view at a Mile even with the most perfect glass. So again, I would pick the 425. Zeiss is great though. The S3 is the best I ever had.

How do you find the parallax. Some say it’s frustrating not having a reference mark of your distances?
@alexanderunterberg1384
@alexanderunterberg1384 3 ай бұрын
@@ProjectArms4719 I never look at distance marks anyways. You have to dial the knob until the target is in focus. While you look through the s ope to see if it is in focus you cannot see the marks anyways. I used to have a Kahles 624i. When using the Meter marks on the parallax knob first before looking through it was never as sharp as if I just ignored them and turned until the target was in focus. Long winded way of saying: I havent found Meter marks to be accurate on Parralax, so you don't need the marks.

@@alexanderunterberg1384 gotcha! I was just curious how they were doing for most people. I really like the scope and wanna purchase one. I’d be using it for prs matches and since prs matches are timed it be good to have quick reference points for my distances.

I gave the V4 a $1300 shot It has worked fine. The glass so far has worked fine. Mine is on a Rem BDL in 22-250 . The scope is illuminated for night hunting Cyoats & other night time predators. For this I have a coupel Cyoats at 200 yds. The old Rem has ben doing this for a long time.

Nice job showing your beautiful product. I wish your shorts would show actual footage from the product. I just bought one and they’re awesome! I use it to acquire small non-moving birds or wildlife in thick wooded areas, then use my spotting scope for 4K video! Zeiss is awesome! Thank you for making this piece of gear!!

There we have a riflescope so the distance is not an obstacle anymore, we have night vision so we do not need to wait for the Moon, we have thermal vision so we do not have to wait for the game to step out of the bush - we can simply shot them in it, and we don't have to seek for animals because the thermal vision immediately shows them to us. We have these trail cams so we don't have to go out and wait and check the tracks. And someone calls this "hunting". Next time we may have an automatic aiming system in the riflescope or a "tracking bullet" like homing missiles. The less tech you use, the more you enjoy and live the hunt. You don't need much for the hunt: a good rifle with open sights, ammunition and a binocular. That's all. Get close to the game. That will be the real challenge for you. The closer the better.

The blond woman is visibly upset after killing the stag and watching it roll down a hill. Not everyone gets a charge out of killing animals for fun. I hunted as a young man, but as I got older I didn’t find it fun at all. I love guns, but the killing isn’t for me. And no, I’m not a Joe Biden fan OR for gun control. Get a fucking life people…..
