For me, it’s not the lack of forest management; it’s the fact that every federal timber sale is done at a loss to the taxpayers. NEPA needs to be streamlined to ensure that we don’t lose money on every federal timber sale. The federal government could copy Washington State’s idea as it pertains to its own SEPA and forest management practices.
