Story time lol We had an English exam (I'm from a country that has native spanish) and a lot of people had it difficult... But not me! Since i literally studied and practiced english for a whole month that year! Well, the results for my other classmates were... um... Like 75% had failed the exam and the people who passed were justtt right enough. But guess who got the highest grade... Well, thanks to that, the teacher thought I CHEATED, and demanded i told the truth. I told her that i did the exam completely clean, but she thought it was bullshit. And then, after insisting, she made me stay in the classroom when it was break, and keep pressing on me to "tell the truth" She got so loud, i started crying (I was like, 8 or something) and told me she would call my parents the next day. And the next day, when it was time to go home, the teacher called me and my dad and mom to the principal's office. At the moment, i felt scared that they would believe her, but her anger transformed in utter fear when my mom told her that she saw me studying for a whole month. The principal told me and my parents that we needed to wait outside so he could "talk" to the teacher (i'm pretty sure she got scolded to hell and back) He called us back, made the teacher apologize, and for the rest of the year none of us saw her again.

Reminds me of the skit from the Onion that is the exact same except the ending is that the poorest man in the world (some dude in India) is covering 90% of all jobs on earth because all the payment chains lead to him.

I've heard rumours that some Indian developers (usually the ones of higher caste) pull off something like that by paying some lower caste/dalith to do all the job for them.

This unironically happened in China in regards an attempted assassination. I can't remember exactly who wanted the hit (think it was someone who was being sued in civil court or something like that) so he offers a substantial sum on their version of the dark web. The hitman accepts and outsources it offering roughly half what he was offered etc. This happens like 5 or 6 times! The last dude was being paid barely enough to cover a week's rent so he accepts and tells the victim offering to help him get everyone else arrested for some reward money. They all ended up getting prosecuted including the last guy. I feel like the last guy should at least have escaped prosecution if not receive any reward. China's always been a bit crap about thinking through incentives.

You could do this with as many jobs as you want and get your "assistants" doing all of the work and then your only job is finding jobs and then wait now you're a contract company

For real what happened is that, everybody got their test easy side up, and then forgot that there was the back, and then landon got the hard side up and decided to start it from there Eventually he discovers the easy side and says: "guys... did you see the back"

That happened to me. I had a reputation for being really smart, but I struggled on a test everyone else found easy. Ever since then, I saw myself as stupid. Other people continued calling me smart, but I knew they were lying.
